| Galomorro | posted 28-May-2007 8:37pm Well, not sure of the exact years here but vividly remember a Rolling Stones album that had an 11-min. song on it called "Goin' Home" which I loved; Inna-Gadda-da-Vida by Iron Butterfly was another; There was "Down by the River" by Neal Young; Truckin' by Grateful Dead; early Jefferson Airplane stuff. I wasn't much into the Beatles. There are other songs I can't remember right now but I could if I saw the titles in print. Oh, Crosby, Stills & Nash's first and second albums. My sister had all the Beatles albums though and I especially remember the White Album songs. All of Jimi Hendrix's stuff. Later - realized you were probably mainly speaking of the Beatles. I realized I forgot to mention two of my fav albums back then, still non-Beatles: Blind Faith and anything of Cream's. I went to see those two early Beatles films with my sister but disliked the way the girls were screaming during the films "Help" and "A Hard Day's Night." |
| ausfox | posted 28-May-2007 10:09pm Not sure I understand the question. Are you after the most memorable Beatles album, or just a favourite album? |
| Iseult | posted 28-May-2007 10:59pm I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're talking about the Beatles.
And no, I don't remember any of the albums vividly. Something to do with not being born yet. No, none of the music albums are still etched in my memory (they never were). And my favourite? I don't know. |

| falkensmaze | posted 28-May-2007 11:18pm Are you wanting us to say favorite Beatle album or any album? |
| docgbrown | posted 29-May-2007 12:44am Since I don't like music I didn't and don't follow Sgt Pepper or anyone else's anniversary |
| cabinfever | posted 29-May-2007 1:30am The one that is etched in my memory is from high school: Def Leppard's 'Hysteria'. Some precious memories associated with that one.

| mikeloff | posted 29-May-2007 3:09am It wasn't Sgt Pepper - It was actually "Night at the Opera" by Queen. What a recording. |
| mikeloff | posted 29-May-2007 3:10am Any album - any artist. |
| bill | posted 29-May-2007 8:38am It's hard to pick a favorite, it has been so long since I got into an album like this... |
| romkey | posted 29-May-2007 9:21am Pink Floyd's The Wall... after it was released the one FM station I could pick up played the whole thing every night at midnight for a while...
That was back when music was still special. |

| Pomeranian | posted 31-May-2007 3:51am I guess something like Acade Fire is the safe answer here .. unless it's Revolver omg the pressure is building |

| Biggles | posted 6-Jun-2007 7:27pm I don't remember any albums vividly. I've probably only listened to a couple of complete albums. And to say I live in Liverpool, I'm not even familiar with the Sgt Pepper album. |
