Mostly all the green and the warmer weather. |

warm, windows, birds, green...
Also, being able to sit on our screened-porch.
Being able to leave the door open for the cats (less getting up to walk downstairs to let them in/out).
Cats are also calmer/happier, fight less because they use their energy up outside.
Not having to deal with snow-cleanup.
Just the feeling of winter being over is really good. |

Because I'm English, everything ("Oh to be in England now that April's here..."), but especially the warm weather following the bleak English winter. |

I actually prefer fall and winter over spring. I don't like warm weather, I open windows year-round, and I don't garden, barbecue, or ride a bike. I do like the birds, but that's about it. |

I like the smell of spring. Every season has it's own scent(s). But what I like most about it is just that I can do more outside. It's not intolerably cold. |

Warm weather, open windows, spend time outside comfortably, cooking outside, and RIDING MY MOPED, and the chickens are finally in there own house! I don't like the actual gardening but I like the gardens. |

And reading outside in my hammock. |

I've already mowed a few times this year... I have a pretty small, mostly fenced-in yard... so no riding mowers for me... I still love it. |

I love everything about spring. I wish it could be spring all year long! |

Opening the windows, that is such a brief time period around here with the humidity and all sometimes. Not that I do more outside, it;s I enjoy doing things outside more. I get tired of being cold and spring brings out the warmth in me and the outside. The weather is so perfect now, it's like being in Dan Diego California. |

LindaH dug it up for me. Apparently, he arrived in court like that. I assume he's going for the insanity defense. |

Spring isn't particularly different from winter or summer where I live. It IS a few degrees warmer though and it starts GARAGE SALE SEASON because one is less likely to get caught in the rain. Thus also an "Other." |

Warm weather and being able to be outside more. Also, Caleb being able to play outside more. He loves being outdoors. It also brings back fond memories of my mother, who loved spring. |

Warm weather, being able to be outside, having the windows open, and the sounds and smells of Spring in general. Especially the smell of the lilacs. |

I'll tell you what I don't like about spring.. the fudging birds that squawk outside my window at 5am |

Jeeze I seriously love everything about spring! Especially the fact that it's no longer winter!

I lived in the bay area during the drought in the late 80s... so when spring was that time when plants went from grey to brown... |

Warm weather, being able to do more outside, watching the neighbor's landscapers. |

Spring? What is that? I've heard about this spring thing. Supposedly in some parts of the country there are actually more than summer and winter as seasons. |
Galomorro | | (reply to romkey) posted 4-May-2007 11:41pm |
Yep. We're worried about a drought happening again here. We didn't have enough rain this winter. |

That first feeling of the warm sun on your skin. The return of 'green'. Being able to turn the heating off and open the windows. |

The return of the greenery. Not so apparent where I live now, but it was where I grew up, and will be where I am moving to in a few months. |

Spring is not really any different from winter or summer where I live, and I love to hear the birds
and see all the green grass and smell of flowers in June |

I don't have to listen to anyone else's noise becase they are all outside. |

Nothing I dislike spring, I love winter because that's the time of year when I'm never sick but unfortunately I've got my birthday in july and since I live in the southern hemisphere, you know the story. But I'm usually sick the second week of spring and all the wild animals having sex in your backyard and snakes waking up and getting angry and horny if you're in their territory. It's completely over - rated in my opinion personally. |

I've been keeping up with it.
Apparently, one of the witnesses said something like she thought that his big hair was part of how he dealt with what I call "little man syndrome".... Like cops and small dogs, he's trying to look big and imposing. |
