Is there anything you ever wanted to know but never got around to asking?

My friend had the unfortune of wondering loudly of how calendar came to be in front of me, because I sat her down and explained the whole process. It took me a while, but I think it's important for one to know.

Is there anything you always wanted to know? I always wondered why are some people so slow to accept the evolution theory? And why the bleaching of corals in happening? And what the hell is Riemann Zeta Hypothesis and why no one has been able to prove it so far?

Really? Damn. All this time I was told that a male & female come together & during copulation the males sperm fertilizes the females egg & a zygote forms within the females body & this eventually becomes a pink chubby bundle 9 months later. MY SCIENCE TEACHER WAS A LIE! * laughing out loud * He left out anything to do with tinfoil. * grin *

Many things, but they are way too complicated to form a question out of.

I know there are lots of things, but I tend to forget about them soon after I think of them, and so I never find the answers. But I wonder about random things like this all the time.

I can't think of any but I know there are a bunch. Wait, does everyone in the world keep time using the same clock? I ask because in the US thinks are measured in all kinds of crazy ways, Europe and other have the metric system. Everywhere has different money representing different denominations. Different cultures have different calenders. So does everyone keep time the same way? I know there is military time but it is still hours, minutes and seconds.

I wonder why the hell criminals in prison have more rights than law-abiding citizens.

Why are there locks on the doors at the 7-11? They are open 24 hours.

Why is Barry Bonds popular?

Why did the survey creator use 'unfortune' instead of 'misfortune'?

Why does my offspring ask 'why' to every fudging thing I say?

Why does Kyra Sedgwick wear such clownish-looking lipstick in 'The Closer'?

Why does the media report so much bad stuff, and yet won't report hardly anything good that happens?

Why is my Focus getting such crapty 'in town' gas mileage?

Why are there FIVE layers of wallpaper on the walls of my living room?

Why are cigarettes still legal?

Why won't our politicians get their balls together and tell the Saudis we'll give them $30 a barrel for their oil, and if they don't like it, they can kiss our ass? We have Texas and Alaska.

Why don't our politicians get their balls together and tell Big Oil's lobbyists to screw off, and put more funding towards alternative, renewable fuels?

Why can't we all just get along?

Why has the price of Romex suddenly gone through the roof the last six months?

Why aren't child molesters neutered and sent to live on an island by themselves?

Why is this God-forsaken wide spot in the road such a close-minded community?

How the hell did I get so FAT?!?

Ooh, I know this one. Pick me, pick me!

Because the survey creator thinks that 'unfortune' is an actual word.

Not really. I can usually find out what I really want to know by doing a search online, or if it's a more personal question, I'd ask the person directly.
