No. I've got free long distance on my cell, so there's no point. I used to use them when I had friends in Iraq. They'd get cell phones over there and I'd use a calling card to call them. But, now they're all home, so I don't need to do that anymore. |

No. When I lived in Israel you had to get a phone card to use the public pay phones, but they were for local calls too, and you didn't get any kind of discount. They had all kinds of cool designs on them, though. I collected them. |

Yes: If I'm phoning Internation non-US long distance from the regular phone or if I'm making any International call from my cell. Also, if I'm calling Canada and planning on talking for longer than 5/10 minutes. |

No. Remember calling cards? Before cell phones were common? My parents let me use theirs. I have never used one of these though. |

I don't use them in Hong Kong---overseas long distance can be incredibly cheap here if you sign up with the correct carrier. When I'm back in the US, I tend to get a calling card of sorts (I buy it online so it's never an actual card) to call overseas. Also incredibly cheap but more of a pain to use. |

Only for international calls. I use my cell phone for regular long distance calls because I have it included for free in my plan. |
