What is the first thought that usually cross' your mind when you wake up in the morning?

What time it is, then what I have to do today.

Yay, another frickin day.

I don't think so much, I just instinctually launch into my routine... get dressed, bathroom, coffee, let cat out, go upstairs, turn computer on, etc.

Looking at the clock and realizing I have to get up and get myself moving zoooom zooom

Right now, I wake up.... then when my brain kicks in I will first feel sadness then a sort of resignation to the day. Things will get better though.

I usually wake up with the time on my mind but with dirty intentions.

Usually it's "Hit the snooze."

If there is any commonality at all, it's probably checking the time.

The time. I have to have Mary up by 7 and on the bus by 8 so I can start working at 9.

if it's a day off i usually am saying, "cool, i can lay here a while." on a work day i get right up and start the shower.

I think i could roll over and manage to get in at least a little bit more sleep....surely i don't have to get up just yet....
and yes - it's my first thought EVERY day.

I wonder what time it is. And than I wonder what day it is and where I have to be and how long I have before I need to be there.
Sometimes I am thinking about the dream I just had and lay there and mull over it.
