I decided to look it up before I answered and discovered it is more about Christianity than football. At least that is what Wikipedia gave me. I'm more likely to watch a movie about football.

After reading Pennyann's post, I remember that I saw part of it. The acting was horrible and I couldn't stand watching the whole thing. I later heard that none of the actors were professionals. Most of them were members of the church that put the movie out. (If this is the same movie.)

I sure hope it's not one of those crappy sports films that America churns out every year featuring a bunch of plucky, misfits and no-hopers who against all the odds make it to the finals for the first time ever and go on to win in the last minute thus perpetuating the myth that faith and self-belief are acceptable substitutes for talent and training and which despite its poor production values, lacklustre script, mediocre acting and by-the-numbers direction inexplicably gets a cinematic release but thankfully never sees the light of day over here?
