What are your thoughts on the passing of Anna Nicole Smith?

It's sad.

It's a shame she died. It's a shame her son died. I think she deserved some amount of her deceased husband's estate, goodness knows there's plenty of it. Was she a gold-digger? Probably. Was I kind of grossed out in a fascinated sort of way when I was channel surfing and tripped over the TV series that focused on her life of wretched excess? Sure. I even watched for a few minutes at a time until I could no longer comfortably watch her larger-than-life activities. I guess the saddest thing is wondering what people will remember about her in a few years? What differences will she have made? And who is the father of her baby anyway?

Too many people are too worried about money.

I don't know. A bit of a shock.

I just wonder what will happen to her daughter. People are coming out of the woodwork claiming to be the father. I think they're being motivated by money.

There's a lot of people that think she didn't deserve any of her husband's estate. But, I agree with you. I'm sure she didn't marry him for love, but he also knew that. He was just as guilty as she was. He wanted a hot, young woman and he got that. I wouldn't say she deserved all of it, but at least some.

I feel, as when anyone passes, ....sad. She died as she lived....on the edge. I feel, in part, she died of a broken heart from her son's passing. And you can never dismiss the possibility of a possible homicide. As the President said recently...."money trumps everything". There is a big money at stake here. I'm really interested in knowing who fathered her daughter. I hope this isn't dragged out for years, for the daughter's sake. It just seems suspicious, that her son died, and then she dies....then a daughter is born, naming the boyfriend as father. I would think the lawyer boyfriend would have made sure she had a good will to protect the daughter. Something is just not quite right about this case.

Yea, i believe it's money motivated myself. Note that there are, as Amanda said, people coming outta the woodwork claiming to be Dannielynns dad. I think if there just wasint millions at stake, you wouldinta' have seen hide nor hair of any of these sperm don- um, i mean ''dads'' I do feel bad she died. Tragic.

Anywho... it's sad for her family and friends. And her daughter. I hope her daughter is physically and mentally ok by the way.

Probably? Totally.
On her reality TV show she was high half of the time.

I don't have any thought about it. I didn't even know who she was till she died.

Not that I really care, but it was surprising, especially so soon after her son's death. And I also wonder what is going to happen to her newborn little girl.

She was almost surely on methadone and who knows what else... Hell, I've never been so high that I acted like a 4 year old child. It was interesting that Howard brought up 'shrooms... do you think that's what she was on?

The tone he used with her when he said, "I'm kidding!" also struck me as kind of odd. I read a book once about different types of toxic personalities... One of them was called something like "the kidder"... a person that makes derogatory statements, but then claims it was all a joke when they get called out. His tone reminds me of 'the kidder'. He wasn't saying anything derogatory at the moment, it just rubbed me wrong.

I'm not sure what she was on. Looked more like alcohol and something else. Usually people get happy from mushrooms.

I've never done shrooms, but would assume it's a lot like LSD... and she doesn't seem to be tripping.

I'm really, sincerely disappointed that she will not be around anymore to entertain me with her constant shenanigans..... I'm hoping for more of the stolen video and photographs to make their way online.

I'm not affected by her passing itself, but the whole media circus is making me uncomfortable. Let her and her implants rest in peace.

Yes, her death is tragic. It's so sad she'll never know her daughter, and her little daughter will never know her mother. What I fear, and others have stated the same....I just hope nothing happens to the baby. I just wish they'd go through with the DNA soon, find out who the father is...but I don't believe Stern will let that happen., he has too much to lose. What a mess!

She was still pretty young so too bad for that. I'm curious to know the cause of death. I think it's sick people actually fought over her body until it was decomposing.

in your 20,s 30,s or 40,s death will get us before we know it
and for some reasons unknown like drug use or poor health

and I do consider myself very lucky and fortunate living long enough
to be in my 50,s 51 and I myself have had many brushes with death and it could have been my time

Her death was as tragic as her life. I have no more thought on the matter. Except for my two cents worth about her being compared to Marilyn Monroe, oh please! Not hardly. Too much drama about her life and far too much drama for her death.

I think it's for publicity, If they had really wanted the results already, they could have. The more it's put off the more the public wants to know. I mean think about it, when we find out, within a month we will have forgotten the whole thing. But as long as it's delayed again & again the more we wanna know. Thats what i think. Like you've said i think it's odd that she & Daniel died within months of each other. I smell a rat.

Thats what i thought too. ugh. I honestly believe they would have fought till there were was nothing left of the poor woman, if need be.

I think she killed herself. It's kinda sad, but it's getting really overblown.

I agree, I smell a rat.....one of them is a lawyer rat....if you know what I mean. But, then again, who knows?? Yes, it has become quite a circus....and the most innocent, the baby daughter, will be paying the price, probably throughout her life.

I think it's a shame everyone is equating her to Marilyn Monroe. I see no real similarity in their lives except she attempted to look like her as have many. I know twenty people that started off poor and aren't poor anymore, big deal.
I don't follow these kinds of things but I have friends that excitedly update me whether I like it or not. Last I heard her body was deteriorating so badly they stopped the trial to have a viewing. What a shame things end up like this. Hopefully someone will love that little girl for who she is meant to be and not the fame she may bring.

I said something bad would happen to her because so many young people adored her and watched her life, and she lived her life so wrong. I felt so sorry for her, she was such a messed up person, she truly was.

I always kinda liked her, but I wish they would drop it now. Damn it is on the news all the time.

A shame. She seemed to have been on the right track to turning her life around.

Sad. She was exploited and addicted and I don't know too much else about her I do feel sad for her and her daughter. I do think she was a beautiful woman.

I feel bad for her and for those who loved her. She was too young to die.

Sad but inevitable. What's sadder is the grapple to be the father of her baby now it has inherited millions, when none of them would have given a crap before.

I more concerned about the future of her baby daughter.
