No, but I have been given a stolen street sign. |

No, but my sister did, and I got the Stop sign in my garage. |

I haven't, but I've had friend who did... |

Yes. When I was a teenager, we used to get this wild hairs when we were drinking or smoking pot. I still have a stop sign and a Slippery When Wet sign. The stop sign hangs on Caleb's bedroom door. |

Nope, but I've been with someone who did, as well as been given one. |

No...
My conscience wouldn't allow it. I stole a dime in the third grade, and I still regret it. Never stole again....I wanted some candy after school. I never told my parents. |

No, but in college I thought those big signs on the Mass Pike that said "Do Not Stop" were really funny. So my boyfriend at the time stole one for me. It was pretty big, but I toted it from dorm room to dorm room with me (I got it in my sophomore year). After I graduated, I went to Israel, so I stored it at the MIT fraternity house where I was living that summer. I have no idea what happened to it. It's probably still there. |

No. Where would I put it? |

No, but my step-father did, he stole a street sign that had a name of a road named after him. |

There is a local road called Amanda Drive. I've always wanted that sign. But, it's intersects with a busy street and we were never able to get it. |
romkey | | posted 14-Feb-2007 1:42pm |
Not a street sign, but about twenty four years ago I might have been involved in removing a large MBTA sign from its proper location. |

You might have been? |
| RGirl | | posted 14-Feb-2007 2:52pm |
No but I stole one of those wood things that had a blinking yellow light on it. |
gambler | | posted 14-Feb-2007 5:29pm |
Yes, and as a kid I used to steal those flashing amber Flashing warning lights from road works |
Iseult | | posted 14-Feb-2007 6:41pm |
No. We tried this one time, but nobody took proper tools with them. |

Possibly... |
| Enigma | | posted 14-Feb-2007 9:43pm |
No but I was an accomplice to a street sign stealing once. It's not as easy as you would think. |
LindaH | | posted 14-Feb-2007 11:09pm |
Pfft. Who needs a sign? Why don't you just steal the whole street? |

No, never a street sign... but I did bring home a traffic cone once, way back in my mid-teens. |

I have some vague recollection. It would have been a long time ago. I would have been drunk at the time. It might not have been a street sign. It might have been one of those barricades they use for road work with the flashing amber light...then again, it might have been both... |

I decline to comment. By the way, nobody can come to my barn to inspect wall hangings either. |
