Do you really believe or think that life is fair to you?

Sure I do. Have to take the good with the bad.

Life isn't fair.

Life can't be 'fair' or 'unfair'. Only people can do that. It's negative to think that life is dealing you a raw hand, that you are somehow less lucky than everyone else, or that you just can't win. With that attitude, you are fulfilling your own prophesy.

Life isn't fair or unfair. You're in control of your own destiny. Your life is what you make of it.

Well yea life can be dick at times, but the way the way creators got the survey worded, you'd think somebody would be fixin' to commit suicide or lean toward break down.

I believe that life isn't "fair." However, I do say that I was dealt a "bad hand" in life. Much of what life consists of are choices made, *but* life is also comprised of things out of your control. The only thing you can do is try to make the best of it.

Life is life. It's good, It's bad but it is what it is ....a precious gift!

I don't believe that life works in such a way that "fair" is meaningful. "Fair" implies that you deserve something... that the universe is structured in some way in which you are particularly special. It's a nice fantasy and I can see why it might be comforting.

Fair? I don't think of life in terms of 'fair' and 'unfair'.

Despite the pain and the crappy moments, yeah, I think that life is fair. Life truly is what you make it.

I will say life is 'unfair' at times to me, to all of us, its a fact of life, but obviously this should go without saying..others have a million percent harder ride, like droves dying of hunger, living in a violent or unjust country or even enduring a horrible household right in your own neck of the woods....looking at the bigger picture, the whole scope.. I have been tremendously lucky. I may have a little dog and a cry every now and again, but I think life has been fair in comparison to others. So Ive no real right to say I can stand no longer.

It isn't fair to anyone, but I learned that good times will come after the bad times. I've had bad times last so long and feel so intense I believed there would be no end to the suffering and did try to take my own life. I'm glad I didn't succeed because I would have missed out on a lot. Still, others have had it worse.

Absolutely not. It's all perception. Going through life kicking and screaming will only give you bumps and bruises. If something isn't working out for you, than change it. Without blaming anyone else, or pointing fingers...take responsibility for your changes.

I don't think of life in terms of 'fair'. It isn't like 'life' cares or anything, and if it did, it would be enormously self-centred to think of it focusing of me.

If it were fair, that would mean all the bad things that have happened to me in my life would be because I deserved them. So now I take great comfort in the general unfairness and hostility of the universe.

It's been hard more than it has been good, but then, there are a lot more people who have it much worse than I do. So I can say that life has been 'fair'.

I was blessed with good parents, blessed with good children, and grandchildren....I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food to eat.....life has been good to me. I've had hard times, and good times. Life, generally speaking, is what you make it...and your choices...whether good or bad.

I think my life is fair though. Most negativity that I've seen was probably a direct result of my own actions. The stuff I couldn't control... well... we all have that, don't we? Maybe I'm just getting all my bad stuff out of the way.

I have no expectation whatsoever that "life" should be "fair". Fairness is a guiding principle that I might want to see among humanity, but even then, I hardly expect it. I just appreciate it when it happens.

Anyone who expects fairness out of life is living in a fantasy world with unicorns and magic pixies. It's delusional.

Yeah, life can be stressful. So you've got to learn how to relax and recharge your batteries so that you can get right back in there and slog away at it. Otherwise you wind up in the nuthouse.

Fairness is really getting exactly what you deserve. Life isn't particularly fair to anyone.

Life isn't fair. Life is just life. Sometimes other people are fair to you, and sometimes they're not. Expecting life to behave in any way is silly, since life is an abstract concept and can't actually choose to treat people fairly or unfairly.
