| drdt | posted 5-Aug-1999 12:50pm If I remember my eighties properly, it means 'Dance Music'. But only when pronounced the exact way it is pronounced in the song. |
| they | posted 5-Aug-1999 1:04pm I don't think I've ever seen a 0 rating. |
| drdt | posted 5-Aug-1999 1:15pm Not enough votes. Someone will eventually forget to rate it. |
| Jody | posted 5-Aug-1999 1:19pm I recall when the band Wang Chung first became popular, someone said that their name means "perfect pitch". I doubt they mean anything about singing or baseball - I always assumed it just meant they wanted people to listen to their music. And their album "Warmer Side of Cool" was much better than the album with the aforementioned song on it. |
| bill | posted 5-Aug-1999 1:30pm I means the same thing as "shock the monkey". |
| eris | posted 5-Aug-1999 1:36pm Party 'til you drop? |
| fooyun | posted 5-Aug-1999 1:59pm It doesn't mean anything. It's just a silly name. |
| kirst | posted 5-Aug-1999 2:32pm It means to masturbate. |
| Jasmine | posted 5-Aug-1999 4:45pm i think its the name of a tv news anchor. oh shoot, i thing her name is Connie Chung, i guess it must mean one of those chinese things if anything, now i feel kinda embarrassed for all that dancing while wondering why they were singing about a news anchor. *shrug* |

| anonymous | posted 5-Aug-1999 9:36pm Wang-Chung is a traditional dish usually found on the northern part of the mainland of Japan. It's mostly prepared with duck, but beef or chicken can be substituted. So the song, in essence, is telling everyone to eat wang-chung. |

| mandy | posted 5-Aug-1999 11:49pm It's the sound of a guitar being strummed....by someone...with big hair....in an 80's pop band. |
| mandy | posted 5-Aug-1999 11:51pm Actually, it's chinese for Kajagoogoo |
| SueBee | posted 6-Aug-1999 2:40am Isn't it just the name of the band that did the song? |

| they | posted 6-Aug-1999 5:32pm I must have missed Wicksy's attack on Jasmine. I haven't seen a single unkind thing that he has said to her. Am I missing something? |

| Jasmine | posted 7-Aug-1999 3:18am The first three things he/she? had to say were all pretty jerky, even if they weren't directed at me, so i just figured it was better not to be annoyed in the first place. |

| mandy | posted 8-Aug-1999 9:56pm Thanks for the straight answer...I should have known I wouldn't have gotten one even though I was courageous enough to ask outright instead of stooping to anonymous guesses like most do. oh well... |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 8-Aug-1999 10:28pm I presumed you to be fairly bright, and therefore strove to give a challenging why instead. It was a lesbian answer. |
| mandy | posted 8-Aug-1999 10:48pm Well then. No wonder I didn't understand. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 8-Aug-1999 10:59pm One of my favorite art forms. |
