Have you ever used or handled a samurai sword?

Yeah, I have a couple, along with half a dozen very sharp fantasy swords and maybe 15 Bowie knives. Used to have 85 rifles and handguns too but only one .44 magnum Dirty Harry pistol remains.

I've handled one, but never used or owned one.

No. I've handled parade swords in the military, but never a samurai sword. Must be an awesome thing, if Kill Bill taught me anything.

No. At least I don't think so, I know my friend has a couple of swords I've held, but his are from Hong Kong. We have a very elaborate Mejorcan sword in the dining room. It was a bastard to get through customs.

Yes, actually we have 2 in our house. They are my brother in laws and I want him to take them back but we live in different cities and it's not exactly something you can rock up to the airport with.

I suppose I could have. One of the residents at work has one and she was showing it to me. I'm sure she would have let me hold it if I had wanted to. The desire to do so failed to materialise.

No, I have not. They are not toys, and I elieve in the discipline and honor ehind the sword. *looks over both shoulders at who's listening* I am not at this time worthy to handle one. I consider it to be treated and honored as such.

Yes I have handled a few, but give me a good machete, or a hunting knife.

You know, Jamaica is probably one of the very few countries where a man walking along with a Machete in his hand wouldn't even raise an eyebrow

Really, that's cool. I guess I carry one on my sadle all the time. I also wear a hunting knife a lot. Just comes in handy around and has become a habit. We also do a lot of camping where I use these things.

I did fencing for 3 years with a fencing foil. Our instructors did a demonstrations with Sabers, that's the closest I've been to a bladed weapon.
