You have your house/apartment to yourself for a whole day and night. What do you do?

Maybe some cleaning, playing keyboards, writing, surfing the net. Depending on my mood, I might invite someone over, defeating the purpose of this question.

I'd listen to very loud music and sing very loudly (and probably badly) to it. I'd eat utter crap all day, just sweets and pringles (which are made from dough!), perhaps a pizza. I'd go to bed very early so I could come downstairs at about three to watch DVDs.

......... Well with Mitzie, and the kids gone I will sit on the computer and play poker until about 3.00am

I'm assuming that I can't call anybody, so here's the drill:

Wake up late
Make coffee
Listen to music/watch TV while I have a slow breakfast
Do something physical/play outside
Strip and take a shower (or maybe a bath if I feel like it)
Prepare dinner
Watch a movie with dinner
Check emails and SC
Go to bed

If I can invite others, the last 4 items would involve someone else and I would probably drop the emails and SC.

Oh just getting much needed things done around my house, going up to the post office later on and checking mail and then to the grocery store and come back here and do some cooking and cleaning, and I have laundry to get done this survey reminded me of my laundry today, and go on the internet and check all e-mails

It would be an average day. - Yak on the computer, do some cleaning, work on the computer, watch a movie or play some guitar. Today I plan on bicycle repairs.

Wake with the sunrise. Play on the computer; run errands if I need to, like grocery shopping; if weather is sunny, sit in the sun some and read; go back on the computer; take a hot bath, perhaps a bit of reading in the tub. Listen to music on my computer's iTunes. If I go outdoors -- a hike, shopping, to the library, etc. I take my iPod shuffle. Have a few drinks. Eat dinner. Go to bed fairly early. Am not a night person.

Clean, putter, eat, smoke, drink some beer, answer surveys, play with the cats, watch some telly, play games online.

I had this today! ... lets see... I puttered around.. I took a nap. I went for a walk. I went out and got a sandwich and some pants. Now, I'm watching a movie (one that my wife had already seen, "True Romance").

Yeah, there are tons of big actors in it... Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer... I don't know how I missed it when it first was out.

I've been living alone for a little over five years now.

Typical day:

Wake up, make coffee, boot up the computer, drink coffee, smoke cigarettes, make little tinker-tunes.
Bathe, get dressed, go to work.
Work.
Come home, boot up the computer, make little tinker-tunes, smoke cigarettes, drink juice.
Bathe, put on my jammies, climb into bed with a vintage sci-fi paperback, read, smoke cigarettes, drink juice.
Fall asleep.

[repeat as necessary]

Making tinker-tunes can be replaced with surfing the net, playing a game etc.
Eating and shopping are also included at some point in the day.

I take a long, quiet nap and watch as much 'Flip That House' and 'Animal Precinct' as I can find... and check SC every couple hours.

Babylon 5 marathon session!!!!!!!

I'm rewatching B5 for the first time since it ended - I can't believe that it's even better than I remember. I expected it to have aged badly, especially when compared with more recent shows like West Wing, or Firefly, etc. But it's fantastic!!! I've just started rewatching Season 2, so it's just getting better and better.

Do what I usually do. Housework, surf the net. Maybe bake.

Woo hoo! Whatever the HELL I want to do. Hang around in jammies, read... make stuff to eat no one else ever wants but me. Watch a movie no one else is interested in. And then at the end of the night I look forward to them coming home. The best is having an entire WEEKEND to myself. Then I like to have something shocking waiting for them when they get home. Some special dish or a room totally made over.

I do the same things I normally would do, except for having sex.

Same stuff as usual, but likely be naked and spend some time playing with myself while watching porno.

Sleep. Watch Movies. Make and eat delicious food. Read. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

If my husband and son were away for a WHOLE 24 hours, I would sleep, read, watch tv, take a bath. I would RELAX! ;)

Nothing really different. I have lots of time to myself at home anyway.

It would be much more fun to have someone else's house or apartment to myself all day and night.

I sleep in late, get up when I'm hungry and either find something in the fridge or cupboard to eat or order in. Go online, read, watch tv, take a shower sometime during the day. Pretty exciting day all around.

Solo routine is something like this: Wake up, turn the cpu on, make my cup of coffee, dink on the computer, watch the noon local news, dink on the computer until the 5pm news, make something for dinner, dink on the computer, watch my evening tv, do a final dink, turn off the computer, watch the 11pm news, read, and crash.

If I got it, I'll smoke it. That only happens at the first of the month.

Oh yea, in between dinks I will straighten the house, run errands, maybe make a phone call or two, see what projects Alice wants me to do, answer the phone for the business, do little cleaning things, maybe talk a walk with the camera, sit and think... nothing earth shattering. I do the lawn and garden when the weather is good.

Relax. Sleep in. Get my chores done in my own time, at my own speed.

Strip naked and watch some porn.

About the same as I do when my son is home. Go online, read, get something to eat either at home or go somewhere to grab a bite. Revel in the peace & quiet.
