I could not. I'm not much of a horse type to begin with. I liked Brokeback Mountain, if that's any consolation (they had horses in that movie.) |
jettles |
i have always been frightened of horses........ to ride them that is. i have ridden maybe twice and was so scared both times. i think they are such beautiful animals. so NO, i could not! |
jettles |
i knew this was yours rockman. i am guessing you ride them like that all the time!!!! |
| Tommyturtle40 |
No, I don't think so, not even on a good day. |
| ROCKMAN |
Yes, do it all the time! My horses will do it on command while I'm riding. I'll show off in front of kids all the time. |

Yes, I sure do. Read my comment above. |

You should dress-up like the lone-ranger. |

I don't even ride merry-go-round horses. |

I don't know... I've never been on a horse.
I think I could hold on if I have to.
I like the option for 'horses don't like me'.

Not unless I was Roy Rogers or Gene Autry. |
Enheduanna | | posted 1-Jan-2007 12:53pm |
No. Maybe if it was only rearing up for a split-second and came right back down. But otherwise, I am sure I would fall off. |

I don't think I could ride a horse, period. |
| JessicaWoman99 |
I do not think so and no |
LJD |
No, I'd slide off...lol I have ridden horses before and the horse reared a LITTLE, but not as high as the horse in the picture. |
| Amanda |
Maybe. Probably not. I could try like hell, though. |
| columbia |
NO!!!! |
| cabinfever |
Could I? Maybe. Would I? Probably not. I love to ride, but not on questionably-tempered horses. |
| thecomic22 |
Beautiful horse you have there, & though i know i'd get sent flying 50 feet, lol. i'd hang on like hell. |
| Enigma |
Hopefully he wouldn't be rearing like that when I was actually riding him. My horse used to rear and it can be hard to keep your seat if you're not expecting it. Since I knew he was a bit of a cheeky monkey I could tell when he was going to do it and I had things I did to get him to change focus. |
llamamama |
Depends...am I bolted to the horse..complete with a seat belt? And is it a ride outside of Walmart? If so, yes.
But even then... |
Zang |
I don't know. Maybe if I was prepared for it, for one and the horse only did it once for a brief period of time...It would help if I was in better horsey back riding practice too. It's been about ten years. |

Should be multi pick. No, I like horses from far away, they don't like me. I am afraid of horses. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to bill) posted 2-Jan-2007 4:46am |
I don't think I want to wear an outfit that looks like that. I did used to like the lone ranger though. |

Horses can read people and sometimes they just don't like them. Maybe it's a fear thing they sense. |
| ROCKMAN |

My horses aren't questionably tempered. They will rear up when prompted to because that's how I've trained them and like to ride. |

Bet you have a saddle when you do that...!
|
cloudhugger |
Yes. Although, I'm not sure that qualifies technically as 'riding'. |
| MiniMary |
I'm not even peeking...but this must be Randy's survey. OK, here I go and look: |
| MiniMary | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 2-Jan-2007 2:51pm |
I was absolutely correct Do you love horses more than people? You know, there is an adolescent phenomena pertaining to teen-age girls actually falling in love with horses. It has to do with the animals timid nature that attracts young girls. Look at National Velvet. |
| MiniMary | | (reply to RGirl) posted 2-Jan-2007 2:52pm |
OMG, Meghan...you are contributing to the bikini-mama avatars!!! |
| cabinfever | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 3-Jan-2007 12:01am |
Yes, but I didn't know that when I was answering the survey. |
| RGirl | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 3-Jan-2007 12:12am |
I had mine BEFORE the latest bikini avatars. It isn't a bikini, she's wearing a skirt and cape and the skimpy top. That's much much hotter than a bikini. |
| RGirl |
Ah! In regards to your avatar...now we equality for men and women in the avatar department. |

No, not always! I ride bareback all the time. I have a good sense of balance I guess you would call it. I do have a halter and reins though. I rarely ever use a bit either. After I have rode them for a while. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 3-Jan-2007 5:51am |
I love horses more then some people.
National Velvet, is that a movie? |
| ROCKMAN |
I know you didn't know.
I guess I'm going to have to get skimppier with my avatar. You Women are ganging up on us guys and our bikini avatars. |
bill | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 3-Jan-2007 7:17am |
exactly! ...that's what I thought of when I saw the picture in the survey explanation. Then you said you show off for kids. I suppose kids today have probably never heard of the Lone Ranger. But, I was into him when I was a kid. |
| Wackadoo |
Probably. Do I get a saddle? |
Irene007 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 3-Jan-2007 9:09am |
What a man! Do you have a cowboy hat too? |
| cabinfever | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 3-Jan-2007 1:23pm |
Well, it's about time we did something! But the sexual orientation and conservatism of many of SC's female users versus male users means that the women won't have as many beefcake shots up as the men do bikini shots. Oh well..... should be fun anyway. I like my Hugh Jackman shot. |
| patarnone |
Maybe not bareback but if there was a saddle horn I might be ok. I use to ride a lot when I was a kid in Walla Walla. |
| MiniMary | | (reply to RGirl) posted 3-Jan-2007 4:48pm |
Meghan,
She is pretty. |
| MiniMary | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 3-Jan-2007 5:01pm |
Yes, from the 1940's...about a young Elizabeth Taylor wanting to race, so she pretends that she is a boy. It's a classic, and I really enjoyed it. |
| RGirl | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 3-Jan-2007 8:30pm |
My avatar is Xena's side kick Gabrielle. I like both of the characters for completely different reasons. Xena reminds me a bit of Anne. Straight forward, practical, tall. And I am more like her side kick. A very happy arrangement. |

Sure, why not? |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to Irene007) posted 4-Jan-2007 5:22am |
I have a couple, but I don't wear them very often. I usually wear a ball cap style hat or a skull cap. |
| ROCKMAN |
Do you like my new one? |
