| hypersky | posted 30-Dec-2006 5:22pm Yeah. I don't remember many of my dreams, so this would help me to view what I'm presently missing and maybe help me understand how my mind works (or confirm that my mind doesn't work at all...) |
| RGirl | posted 30-Dec-2006 5:43pm Absolutely! That would be super awesome! |
| Enheduanna | posted 30-Dec-2006 5:50pm No. |
| LindaH | posted 30-Dec-2006 7:05pm Yes. I've thought of that before. I'd love to replay that kitchen scene.......... |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 30-Dec-2006 7:12pm Probably could not even afford it on my fixed income and who on earth wants to remember their dreams not me |
| Galomorro | posted 30-Dec-2006 7:51pm Ohhhh yeesssss! Whatta trip! I would SO love something like this! To watch my wild dream imaginings on a DVD would be so cool. I would save up to buy such a device. |
| bill | posted 30-Dec-2006 8:40pm Dreams seen by a man-made machine
How does it seem, how does it seem That we can see each others dreams That we can see each others dreams |
| bill | posted 30-Dec-2006 8:46pm To be honest, I don't think it would be possible to do this. Dreams would be hard to turn into a video. They operate at a lower level in our brains, tapping into emotional pathways, and many others.
...but, I still said "yes", because you never know. |
| gambler | posted 30-Dec-2006 8:50pm Honestly? I am not sure |
| mandy | posted 30-Dec-2006 10:03pm FREEEEAKY! |
| ausfox | posted 30-Dec-2006 11:24pm For sure, that would be so interesting. |
| Zang | posted 31-Dec-2006 3:50am Fudge yeah! That would be cool! |
| ROCKMAN | posted 31-Dec-2006 6:27am I'm not sure that might be scary. I figure there's probably a reason I don't remember my dreams. |
| Melf | posted 31-Dec-2006 7:57am Yes. I had a particularly disturbing one the other night I wish I could remember all of. It wasn't a nightmare, but some sick things happened in it; at one point a girl was stood in this guy's appartment kitchen slicing fingers off a dismembered hand, and I was watching it like it was a film. There was even subtitles at one point. |
| they | posted 31-Dec-2006 9:05am Maybe I should go back to bed.... |
| Tommyturtle40 | posted 31-Dec-2006 10:35am I would like to, but I would probably want to delete some dreams sometimes to. |
| patarnone | posted 31-Dec-2006 7:21pm For sure! I don't remember my dreams and need some help! |
| Enigma | posted 1-Jan-2007 7:16pm I think I would. I'm sure some would be pretty weird or scary. |
| southernyankee | posted 2-Jan-2007 1:12am no, that would be like watching something a freshman film student made while on drugs, consisted of 8 hours of static with random sound effects thrown in. |
| southernyankee | posted 2-Jan-2007 1:18am And then what if one of my dreams was a product of a few rouge brain cells with primal instincts dating back millinia that wanted to help Islamic terrorists or commit pedophila. I could then be thrown in prison under the Patriot Act because my subsubsubsubsubsubsubsubsubsubconconious wants to have sex with teenagers even though I am nothing like that. |
| cabinfever | posted 2-Jan-2007 4:28am Heck yeah, I'd use it! It would be very interesting to review my dreams. It would also be nice to be able to go back and see them if I've forgotten them after awakening. |
| Iseult | posted 2-Jan-2007 11:35am No. I cannot think of a reason why I would need them on tape?
Anyway, dreams are something of mine that's very private. Having them in a format that allows other people to view them would ruin the whole thing. It's one thing me telling out about my dreams and another thing you being there. |
| RGirl | (reply to Melf) posted 3-Jan-2007 3:32am What were you smoking before you went to bed???? |
| autumnlight | posted 3-Jan-2007 11:06am Definitely! I'd love to watch them afterwards. |
| Melf | (reply to RGirl) posted 3-Jan-2007 11:57am |
| LindaH | posted 3-Jan-2007 1:07pm My kitchen dream was much more fun. I was trying to make a sandwich, but was interrupted pleasantly by someone I admire a lot! |
| thecomic22 | posted 4-Jan-2007 3:32pm Sure, I read in one of thoes far out science magazines several years back, that they were actually thinking of creating something very much like a vcr that would record your whole dream on vhs. hmm cool. Good survey. |
| Biggles | posted 22-Jan-2007 4:12pm That sounds like it would be really interesting. |
| blondie20 | posted 25-Jan-2007 2:51pm Yeah |
| Gomezy3k | posted 27-Jan-2007 11:15am Definitely.. I have had some really cool dreams... haunted houses, monsters, other wierd ones that would make an awesome movie or I could use the recording to write a cool novel... so yes I would love it.. My dreams would make Clive Barker, Stephen King, Poe or Lovecraft run screaming for safety.. Man what awesome movies and novels they would make... The ultimate horror...although I have had some comedy and adventure ones too... |
