| LindaH | posted 28-Dec-2006 8:47pm None of them, really. I hardly pay them any attention. It helps that I don't watch TV |
| Enheduanna | posted 28-Dec-2006 8:50pm I think Kevin Federline is the worst. He's definitely the most pathetic. |
| hypersky | posted 28-Dec-2006 10:00pm I am sick of so-called "entertainment news." It has gotten to a point where America is better informed about celebrities than about the political scene and current events. This is nonsense people, wake up. Who gives a crap that Britney and Fed-Ex are no longer a couple? Should I give a crap who Paris Hilton is banging this Thursday afternoon? And Tom, keep your fudging beliefs to yourself--they don't make you a more valuable human; they just make you a show-off puppet for a goofy cult. Jeezus, I'm getting pissed off at my own surveys now...AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! |
| Iseult | posted 28-Dec-2006 10:30pm Although I tend to ignore so called 'celebrities' that annoy me out of principle, talking about how much I dislike them is strangely cathartic.
Let's see, I am annoyed most with Paris Hilton, Rosie O'Donnell, Oprah, Lindsay, and Madonna. Now, I might dislike and be annoyed by Oprah and Madonna, but I do respect what they've done. I don't know much about Rosie. However, the same could never be said about Paris and Linday. They can't sing/act/dance and they're not all that good looking. I sort of like Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Pamela Anderson. 'K-Fed' is disturbingly amusing. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 28-Dec-2006 10:34pm > I am sick of so-called "entertainment news."
Every time I flip over CNN I catch a glimpse of celebrity news. > This is nonsense people, > wake up. Who gives a crap that Britney and Fed-Ex > are no longer a couple? LOL @ Fed-Ex. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 28-Dec-2006 10:47pm It's like our lives are worthless compared to theirs. Not true. Also, I would never forfeit my anonymity for 15 minutes of fame. Can you imagine being hounded by paparazzi every time you went for a dump? Now there's a deal with the devil. |
| Strider | posted 28-Dec-2006 11:13pm Britney Spears, Tom Cruise, K- fed, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Micheal Jackson, Madonna, and also Barbra Strasand. |
| Amanda | posted 28-Dec-2006 11:14pm Paris Hilton is on the top of the list, followed closely by Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. |
| cabinfever | posted 28-Dec-2006 11:47pm Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton, and Rosie O'Donnell. Not necessarily in that order. |
| LJD | posted 28-Dec-2006 11:55pm Too many to name...Madonna is high on the list of annoyances..
I ADORE Mel Gibson. |
| RGirl | posted 29-Dec-2006 12:20am First is Oprah because I have a serious hate going on her. I detest the big headed woman. Only some one that concieted would put their wide open smile on every single cover of a magazine.
Then Tom Cruise. Watching him jump around on Oprah embarassed me just witnessing the act. Then Mel Gibson. The world seems to turn upside down when he gets drunk. |
| Zang | posted 29-Dec-2006 1:24am I've been able to avoid being annoyed by celebrities by ignoring them completely. |
| southernyankee | posted 29-Dec-2006 3:55am Tom Cruise, for trying to sue Comedy Central because South Park made fun of his 'religion' (allthough he partially redeemed himself for not showing the paparaci his baby photos, the most sane thing he did), Paris Hilton for being a stupid spoiled whore, Kanye West for being a retard dressing like a retard, and making retarded statements to the media. I am so glad Carlos Mencia called him out in his parady of Gold Digger.
The rest either don't bother me or haven't done anything retarded or super annoying this yeah. The worse Mel Gibson did was get a DUI and said a few stupid things, but its not really his fault he's famous and that Hollyword is disprotionaty Jewish. When you consider that 1) he was drunk at the time, 2) the Isreali war against Lebanon was in progress at the moment which they could have handled it better, and 3) since Hollywood is disproportionalty Jewish off course they're gonna blow it out of proportion. Its not like he was aiming for publicity, they came for him. The worse he said was "The Jews start all the wars." which doesn't really sound that bad. |
| southernyankee | posted 29-Dec-2006 3:55am What has Donald Trump or Britney Spears do RECENTLY to make the list anyway? |
| southernyankee | (reply to Iseult) posted 29-Dec-2006 3:58am yeah, 50 Cent is allright I guess. |

| Galomorro | posted 29-Dec-2006 6:01pm Where's your "Other?" I follow very few celebrities, know little about most of them, and think most of 'em are way overrated. I rarely hear or read anything about them anyway. The only celebrity I actually approved of and liked her style was Barbra Streisand with her Bush putdowns. But as for the worst, I dunno. |
| CGTREE | posted 30-Dec-2006 2:52am Well its a toss up between Donald trump, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Opera, and Tom Cruise. All of these people are just really annoying in some way or another...Opera is full of her self. Donald Trump thinks he knows everything. Tom cruise is just stupid same with kaney west, and 50 cent...well hes so stupid he got shot 9 times and doesn't know how to die! |
| CGTREE | (reply to southernyankee) posted 30-Dec-2006 3:00am > What has Donald Trump or Britney Spears do RECENTLY to make the list
> anyway? Donald Trump has these little "pieces of advice" on the radio stations here...its called something like "Trump talk" or something...it pisses me right off, most of what he says is bull crap and it's also based on statistics... Which I think are totally unrealistic. |

| Enigma | posted 30-Dec-2006 12:47pm Tom Cruise and Madonna - unfortunately no matter how hard I try I always manage to hear their names and be subjected to what I see as their nonsense. I don't look for it, for some reason I guess people find them newsworthy so that's where they end up - in the news. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 30-Dec-2006 4:35pm Michael Jackson and O.J. Simpson are so annoying and they should have been executed along with Saddam Hussein |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 30-Dec-2006 4:39pm And Rosie O' Donnell she is such a bimbo oh please spare me and send Rosie to the planet Neptune and leave her there for good |
| hypersky | (reply to southernyankee, Galomorro) posted 30-Dec-2006 5:35pm Yank: I drew this list from 5-6 other lists. I googled "annoying celebrities"+2006 and went from there. I could have added a truckload, but these folks seemed to appear on the lists I checked. Trump and Britney were among those who came up often.
Galo: Instead of "other", I worded it as "Let me nominate..." |

| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 31-Dec-2006 9:29pm You know what - I actually have a theory on this whole 'famous people can't have any privacy' thing. I think that celebs can choose whether or not they'll be hounded by the paparazzi and media. It occured me last year when I was talking to this guy who's a father to the drummer of Disturbed. He's been around with his son to a lot of tours and met many celebs. I started asking him about many, and when I asked about David Bowie he said David was 'unapproachable'. I asked him to explain what he meant by that and he simply said that there is no way you can get to meet him or even talk to him. So I think that if you're rich and famous and wish to keep your privacy you can. That's people like ... okay, I cannot think of anyone right now. But then there is the media whores like Paris Hilton, Donald Trump, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, who'll do anything, even pretend they're crazy, to get a mention. |
| Iseult | (reply to Melf) posted 31-Dec-2006 9:30pm LOL, I heard about that.
And I know that despite me 'LOL'ing there is nothing funny about that. But that still doesn't compare to that time she almost dropped her kid. |
| Iseult | (reply to southernyankee) posted 31-Dec-2006 9:37pm 50 Cent hasn't been that much in news lately though. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 1-Jan-2007 9:32am I've had dealings with the guys in Rush over the last 15 years--not regular stuff, just the odd thing here and there that got me face time with them. From the moment they got some recognition, they understood that you can either choose to play the fame game (and forfeit your privacy) or you can decide to concentrate on making good music and hope people will still want to come to your shows and buy your music. So yeah, it's up you you to decide how much of a whore you want to be for celebrity's sake. I could not ever imagine myself doing the gaudy stuff that some celebrities do in order to promote their next crappy project. |
| gambler | posted 1-Jan-2007 1:44pm I dont get annoyed at celebrities, but if i had to choose one , probably K-Fed, but not for annoying me, but for being such a no-talent Dick. |
| hypersky | (reply to gambler) posted 1-Jan-2007 2:18pm I wonder if K-Fudd has the brain power to be in on his own joke. You can't be that ignorant of how much you suck and still be able to breathe without assistance. |
| Melf | (reply to Iseult) posted 1-Jan-2007 3:04pm At least social are on to her now |
| gambler | (reply to hypersky) posted 1-Jan-2007 4:48pm Hahahhahahahahh.............. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 2-Jan-2007 11:06am I think when people don't know anything about you, whatever you choose to reveal to them, even something as inane as your favourite colour, is far more interesting to them than if you're Lindsay Lohan and show your punnany to the world because you 'forgot' to wear underwear. |
| Iseult | (reply to Melf) posted 2-Jan-2007 11:07am Wonder if baby daddy gets any custody. |
| Melf | (reply to Iseult) posted 2-Jan-2007 2:55pm Why do people find him so annoying? |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 2-Jan-2007 4:29pm There's a lot to be said for keeping a sense of mystery about yourself. Exposing everything (your punnany included--I'd never seen that word before |
| Iseult | (reply to Melf) posted 3-Jan-2007 8:39am I don't know. I personally find him cute. I know he's a leach and everything, but hell, if Britney married me and let me spend her money, I'd go crazy and do stupid stuff. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 3-Jan-2007 8:41am Punnany is used in the Carribean (I think it's of Indian origin or something). Have you heard of poon tang? |
| autumnlight | posted 3-Jan-2007 11:24am The others amuse me, the only one who truly annoys me is Madonna. I wish she'd just give it up, the haggard old cow. |
| Melf | (reply to Iseult) posted 3-Jan-2007 11:59am Same |
| patarnone | posted 3-Jan-2007 4:35pm The only ones I like are Oprah and Rosie. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 3-Jan-2007 9:58pm Yup. First time I heard of poontang was in a Ted Nugent song "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang." He is the master of subtlety, that one! |
| RGirl | Reminds me of something. Once I was at a gas station and this chick got out of her car- driver's seat- and had a baby in a...those things...a sling thing so the baby was against her chest and belly. She was driving like that! Like the baby was in place of an air bag. What's worse is that she was also smoking! Ashes tumbling down on the infants head. |
| Melf | (reply to RGirl) posted 4-Jan-2007 3:10am That's... a really, amazingly, dumb thing to do. |
| hypersky | (reply to RGirl) posted 4-Jan-2007 9:44am Those slings are supposed to enhance the mother/child bond. I think the was trying too hard to bond with her kid. In case of a crash, she would have actually fused with her baby. Ashes to ashes... |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 5-Jan-2007 10:23am Who's Ted Nugent?
Btw, you changed your avatar. What happened to you to replace sexy girls with a snowboarding pic? |
| Iseult | (reply to RGirl) posted 5-Jan-2007 10:27am That's horrible!
Sounds like my cousin who'd smoke around her baby son. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 5-Jan-2007 11:56am Ted Nugent was a 1970s guitar god. Loud power chords, fast solos and he was just insane on stage, playing entire shows dressed in just a loincloth. He did all that while totally clean and sober. He now hosts a syndicated radio show and is an ardent pro-hunting type. I think he hunts with a bow and arrow. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Nugent
I'm trying to summon the snow gods so that I can go snowboarding soon. The sexy girls understand and have forgiven me. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 6-Jan-2007 11:33am But isn't there lots of cold mountains in Quebec? Can't you just go to one of them and snowboard there? I went to Mont Tremblant this summer |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 6-Jan-2007 3:05pm Tremblant is about 2 hours away from where I live. They only have about 10 runs open and all the snow is man-made. Is it presently 10C today. Not normal at all for January 6th. This sucks. I might as well take up surfing! |
| mandy | posted 7-Jan-2007 5:12pm All of the Above |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 7-Jan-2007 6:14pm Tremblant is six hours away from me. Eight if there is a lot of 'traveux' when you're passing Montreal.
I am hoping it's only this year that is screwd up. Hopefully next winter will be cold and proper. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 7-Jan-2007 8:12pm Let's hope so. The ten warmest years on record are all from 1994 and after. I just hope that this trend comes to a halt and that things come back to what they were. It is not normal for people to be Rollerblading in Ottawa on January 6th. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 8-Jan-2007 1:27pm It snowed today! Not extensively, and not much stayed on the ground because it's kind of warm, but at least that's a start! |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 8-Jan-2007 4:49pm Gotta see something positive in that! It snowed here too last night, but they're calling for +6 and rain tonight, so that's not gonna last. |
| ausfox | posted 9-Jan-2007 8:30pm Mel Gibson and Lindsay Lohan annoyed me a little bit I guess. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 13-Jan-2007 11:34am No. It hasn't. Guess that's what a 3 degree days do. |
