Hell yes have done it many, many times. When I go on my canoe trips there are a few good places to climb up and jump from.

It's a blast! Of course you have to do some climbing before you can jump. That's not so bad though.

There's a swimming hole in the middle of Vermont, about 50 miles from where I live where people do something like this. It's just a river, but it goes over some large smooth rocks (looks really amazing too). We went there to check it out and there were kids jumping off the rocks into a pool that had formed. There was a lower and a higher jumping point. The higher one was over 20 feet, it was quite impressive. Especially, since there were rocks everywhere. There was a sign as we walked in that mentioned that many people had died there, and to use at your own risk, etc.

You have to know what your jumping into for one thing. I probably jumped off of cliffs 3 or 400 times last summer. You deffinatly don't want to do any belly flops from high up.

I hear that just hitting the water wrong, when you jump from really high, can really hurt you. The water can act like a brick wall, if you hit it the wrong way, like a belly-flop could be deadly.
ROCKMAN

I'm butting in here. My eye doc was always on me about being an excellent candidate for laser surgery. First, no one is coming near my eyes with a laser unless my alternative is complete blindness. Second, you have to have follow up procedures after so many years. It isn't a one time deal.
