| longhaultrucker | posted 25-Dec-2006 7:29am My main mug is a New York City coffee mug that has pictures of Trump Tower, Empire State Building, The Chrysler Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Holland Tunnel i bought at a truck stop in upstate New York last summer |
| bill | posted 25-Dec-2006 7:32am It has a picture of one of my cats (Sweetie) in between the words: "Sweetie Says" and "YOU SUCK!" |
| ROCKMAN | posted 25-Dec-2006 7:33am Mine has the Harley Davidson logo on it. |
| Frostbrand | posted 25-Dec-2006 12:14pm I have a few mugs. One has the Gilmore Girls logo, plus the line "Please Luke, please please please...". Another has a Royal Flush w/ Hearts, and the third has a Machiavelli quote. |
| hypersky | posted 25-Dec-2006 1:05pm I've got a Starbuck's logo on my coffee mug at work. I love Starbuck's coffee!!! However, I could do without the whole fake "continental" attitude they bring to coffee. I really don't need the "half-caf/decaf, skim milk, no foam latté" bullcrap when all I want is a large, black filtered coffee. Coffee flavoured coffee is all I want, gosh darnmit! So there, I have a Starbuck's logo on my coffee cup, but I have an issue with the Starbuck's experience. I'm so conflicted right now... |

| Iseult | posted 26-Dec-2006 8:10am It's black and it says 'London Life' on it. |
| hypersky | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 26-Dec-2006 8:45am The mug is cool, but I'm no Harley Davidson fan. That, I'm not conflicted about one bit. Sorry. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 26-Dec-2006 8:46am > It's black and it says 'London Life' on it.
Because you'd like to live in London, right? (I know, it's an insurance company...I'm just being my stupid self again... |

| MiniMary | (reply to Iseult) posted 26-Dec-2006 1:09pm Are you black, Iselut? (I didn't mean anything racist when talking about Dreamgirls) |
| cloudhugger | posted 26-Dec-2006 8:45pm I have many, and I choose the one that fits me for the day. The size, shape, color, and the saying all what may suit me for the day. All the ones I use are my favorites. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to hypersky) posted 26-Dec-2006 8:47pm Perhaps you need to switch to decaf. Black of course. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to bill) posted 26-Dec-2006 8:48pm My favorite one for years said, "I'm sorry, do I look like someone who gives a fudge?' And I took it with me everywhere. It is now a handless planter. |
| Enigma | posted 26-Dec-2006 9:24pm The one I'm using now has a picture of a $1,000.00 Canadian bill on it. We've got tons of mugs here. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 26-Dec-2006 10:24pm And I have other coffee cups : 24 hour woman , what a gal and mother on them |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 26-Dec-2006 10:28pm Yes, as long as it's not London, Ontario I had no idea it's an insurance company. I don't even remember how I ended up using the cup - it was just there and I liked it. |
| Iseult | (reply to MiniMary) posted 26-Dec-2006 10:31pm No. Why? |
| hypersky | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 26-Dec-2006 11:17pm Maybe I should, but I keep thinking: "dammit, I don't smoke, I drink alcohol responsibly and I hardly ever touch drugs anymore, so caffeine will be my drug of choice!" Decaf is like smoking a spliff without the buzz, non, so what's the point? |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 26-Dec-2006 11:19pm And there you go. Also, London Life got free publicity it couldn't even have guessed because you mentioned them here. Now, don't start talking about their life insurance products because you will then totally switch me off (not that I think that you work for an insurance company or anything...) |

| hypersky | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 27-Dec-2006 1:41pm Got it. They do serve great coffee though... |
| cloudhugger | (reply to hypersky) posted 27-Dec-2006 1:52pm I find that when I drink it, I feel uncontrollable. I think they add something to it, to make your brain say "Ah! This is great, I must need more!" I drink alot of coffee, and it's because I like it. I try different stuff all the time in search for the best. |
| LindaH | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 27-Dec-2006 1:59pm I think they add something to it that makes my stomach say "Stop drinking this. It's melting me!" It's yummy, but it makes my stomach feel like I'm drinking acid. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to LindaH) posted 27-Dec-2006 2:02pm |
| hypersky | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 27-Dec-2006 2:19pm I've often heard that they boost their coffee somehow, but I haven't the faintest idea whether that's true or not. I does seem to have a bit of a kick that other coffee shops' coffees don't (if this is grammatically correct.) |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 27-Dec-2006 2:44pm I had no idea what it was, I thought it sounded like a magazine or something. Believe it or not, the cup itself was 'Made in England'. That's cool.
And no, I won't start talking about their stuff |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 27-Dec-2006 2:50pm Good girl. Don't peddle unless they give you the big bucks to do so. |
| Jody | posted 27-Dec-2006 2:54pm I have a ceramic one that is just lovely shades of indigo and crimson. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to hypersky) posted 27-Dec-2006 3:04pm They 'kick' it alright. I trust my brain response. Grammatically correct? Indeed. /close enough for me |

| Enheduanna | posted 27-Dec-2006 8:19pm I have so many mugs, I can't describe them all to you. My favorites tend to be handmade pottery with pretty glazes, also difficult to describe. I do have a cool new mug with cuneiform on it, though. |
| RGirl | posted 28-Dec-2006 12:16am My favorite is plain black. I use it for hot chocolate. Rarely coffee. |
| they | posted 28-Dec-2006 8:55am I have a plain maroon one.
I have several insulated mugs that have my company's name on them. I really like to use my glass beer mugs for coffee. I have one at my dad's I always use that says, "If you steal this mug, I'll kick you in the balls. Have a nice day My boyfriend used to work for Starbucks... so we have a Starbucks Utopia percolator, a set of 4 clear glass starbucks coffee cups, and a few assorted Starbucks cups, mugs, and thermos'. I hate Starbucks - it tastes burnt to me... but he swears it's the best quality coffee, he's a total coffee snob. He appreciates it like a fine wine.... but he's not a coffee drinker |
| mve17 | posted 29-Dec-2006 9:52am I have about 50 of them.
Love the mugs. Hate the coffee.. why does it have to be in everything.. mm this is nice cheesecake with a COFFEE BEAN ontop.. fooling me into believing it's chocolate.. cruel, cruel world. |

| filiasan | posted 3-Jan-2007 2:29am I have several. Which one would you like? I have an old TCC college mug sitting right here. *caffeine junkie* |
| ausfox | posted 9-Jan-2007 10:58pm Mine has a floral type pattern. It's not a mug I would normally use, but I was given it by my in-laws this Christmas and I like the shape of it, so I'm using it. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 3-Jun-2007 10:36pm I don't have just one mug that's mine. I just grab the closest one out of the dish cupboard. Some of ours have flowers on them, one has a radio station logo on it, another has some sort of geometric pattern, another has a picture of Silver Falls State Park on it & we have two that have "Tea" on them. |
