When I could last get an appointment, which was in February. I phoned up in July as six months had passed and I wanted a check up and they told me the next available appt was in January! So that's when I'll be getting it done next, I would imagine.

I can't remember, it's been a few years. I floss, and brush every day. I've been told, I have nice teeth...At my age I must be doing something right. Not long ago, a crown fell out in the back, they filled up the existing tooth, and asked if I wanted a bridge, I said yes if I must. No other problems. I will shortly go and have a cleaning at the dentist's office.

In October. I love the feeling of cleanliness in my mouth after. Of course, I usually grab a large coffee right after and ruin that wonderful feeling, but WTF, I love coffee.

I'm not sure I ever have. Maybe when I was a child. It's usually an oral hygienist who does the cleaning.

About 9 months ago. I need to get back in there for other stuff too.

Many many years ago and I never see a dentist because I cannot afford it on my fixed income and insurance will not pay for this

Less than a year. I was due two months ago, but they had to cancel my appointment (?) and I haven't called them back yet. I will, I still like this guy.

I answered assuming "dentist" includes dental hygienist.

More than a year ago. But I have this awesome electric toothbrush that gets so much plaque! Also, I floss every night.

About six months ago. It's about time to go again. I usually try and go twice a year.

I'd try and find a not so busy dentist. There is more than one dentist around you, right?

Longer ago than it should have been. Probably last time that I saw a dentist, which must have been February at the latest. I think it's just less than a year ago, definitely more than 9 months.

If you ditch your dentist in the UK, chances are you'll never find another one ever again. I moved to a new city, have probably now been removed from the books of my dentist in my home town, and can't find a dentist who will take me on in my new city. I'm just hoping that I have better luck when I move again to go to university.

There aren't many National Health Service dentists around - most of them went private because they can make more money that way - but that makes them too expensive for a lot of people to actually use.

There is virtually no chance of getting another dentist. There's a shortage of dentists all over the UK, I'm lucky to have one at all. When a new dentist surgery opens, its usually in the newspaper, it's that big news lol.

Wow! I can find one anytime for cleaning, but if I needed more done I would use my regular dentist. I usually can get in within a week of calling.

I guess that is ok if you are taking care of your teeth. Once a year is really all you need. I think. Of course I go twice a year. * laughing out loud *
