| autumnlight | posted 22-Dec-2006 6:50pm When I could last get an appointment, which was in February. I phoned up in July as six months had passed and I wanted a check up and they told me the next available appt was in January! So that's when I'll be getting it done next, I would imagine. |

| LJD | posted 22-Dec-2006 6:54pm I can't remember, it's been a few years. I floss, and brush every day. I've been told, I have nice teeth...At my age I must be doing something right. Not long ago, a crown fell out in the back, they filled up the existing tooth, and asked if I wanted a bridge, I said yes if I must. No other problems. I will shortly go and have a cleaning at the dentist's office. |
| hypersky | posted 22-Dec-2006 7:11pm In October. I love the feeling of cleanliness in my mouth after. Of course, I usually grab a large coffee right after and ruin that wonderful feeling, but WTF, I love coffee. |
| romkey | posted 22-Dec-2006 8:35pm I'm not sure I ever have. Maybe when I was a child. It's usually an oral hygienist who does the cleaning. |
| RGirl | posted 22-Dec-2006 9:06pm About 9 months ago. I need to get back in there for other stuff too. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 22-Dec-2006 9:13pm Many many years ago and I never see a dentist because I cannot afford it on my fixed income and insurance will not pay for this |
| cloudhugger | posted 22-Dec-2006 10:31pm Less than a year. I was due two months ago, but they had to cancel my appointment (?) and I haven't called them back yet. I will, I still like this guy. |
| bill | posted 22-Dec-2006 10:46pm I answered assuming "dentist" includes dental hygienist. |
| they | posted 23-Dec-2006 12:23am Less than 9.... I just got the little card in the mail a few months ago. |
| chumpsrock | posted 23-Dec-2006 2:32am More than a year ago. But I have this awesome electric toothbrush that gets so much plaque! Also, I floss every night. |
| chumpsrock | posted 23-Dec-2006 2:34am Oh yeah, what health care plan? |
| llamamama | posted 23-Dec-2006 3:40am Four months ago I think...that was when I actually got them cleaned...(and almost died..)
My next appointment is in February..ick..so cold and nasty..and I wont get to miss school. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 23-Dec-2006 9:07am About six months ago. It's about time to go again. I usually try and go twice a year. |

| Lahdee | posted 23-Dec-2006 11:25am about 4 months ago |
| Lahdee | posted 23-Dec-2006 11:26am oh crum...it was a dental hygenist, not the dentist. does that count? |
| Biggles | posted 23-Dec-2006 12:10pm Longer ago than it should have been. Probably last time that I saw a dentist, which must have been February at the latest. I think it's just less than a year ago, definitely more than 9 months. |
| Biggles | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 23-Dec-2006 12:14pm > I'd try and find a not so busy dentist. There is more than one dentist
> around you, right? If you ditch your dentist in the UK, chances are you'll never find another one ever again. I moved to a new city, have probably now been removed from the books of my dentist in my home town, and can't find a dentist who will take me on in my new city. I'm just hoping that I have better luck when I move again to go to university. |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Biggles) posted 23-Dec-2006 12:16pm Wow, Why is that? |
| Biggles | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 23-Dec-2006 12:18pm There aren't many National Health Service dentists around - most of them went private because they can make more money that way - but that makes them too expensive for a lot of people to actually use. |
| jettles | posted 23-Dec-2006 12:28pm less than 3 months ago and i go every 6 months. |
| Enheduanna | posted 23-Dec-2006 1:04pm It was some time in October, I think. |
| gambler | posted 23-Dec-2006 4:01pm Less than two months ago, as I had to have a crown as well |
| CGTREE | posted 23-Dec-2006 6:59pm Probably around 6 or 7 years ago. |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Biggles) posted 24-Dec-2006 5:54am Ok, I see now. Yeah, there is probably a big difference in price. |
| autumnlight | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 24-Dec-2006 9:55am There is virtually no chance of getting another dentist. There's a shortage of dentists all over the UK, I'm lucky to have one at all. When a new dentist surgery opens, its usually in the newspaper, it's that big news lol. |
| mve17 | posted 24-Dec-2006 10:03am More than a year ago... |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to autumnlight) posted 24-Dec-2006 10:32am Wow! I can find one anytime for cleaning, but if I needed more done I would use my regular dentist. I usually can get in within a week of calling. |
| patarnone | posted 24-Dec-2006 2:44pm I've had dentures since 2001. I don't need a dentist to clean my teeth. |
| Anderz | posted 24-Dec-2006 3:28pm Never had them cleaned... I do that myself. |
| Amanda | posted 26-Dec-2006 12:24am I think it's been about 3 or 4 years. |
| autumnlight | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 26-Dec-2006 11:17am Lol, you're lucky. My dentist have had to restrict check ups to one per person per year. |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to autumnlight) posted 27-Dec-2006 6:15am I guess that is ok if you are taking care of your teeth. Once a year is really all you need. I think. Of course I go twice a year. |
| Melf | posted 27-Dec-2006 12:22pm Never. |
| thecomic22 | posted 27-Dec-2006 2:09pm a year ago and it hurt so bad i almost knocked the dog out. |

| ausfox | posted 9-Jan-2007 11:55pm Less than a month ago. My teeth aren't great, I'm often at the dentist. |
