| JessicaWoman99 | posted 22-Dec-2006 1:49pm I would love to be visited by the ghost of Christmas present boo boo |
| MagicalJamie | posted 22-Dec-2006 1:54pm Christmas yet to come would be the most interesting in my opinion, we know what it's like then, and now, what about the future? |
| Liss | posted 22-Dec-2006 2:26pm Present. I really must read the book: I'm basing this off The Muppet's Christmas Carol |
| mandy | posted 22-Dec-2006 2:39pm Present...I am full on in the moment.... |
| Iseult | posted 22-Dec-2006 3:26pm a) I don't celebrate Christmas. b) I am not familiar with the Chrismat Carol. I've seen it as a child and HATED it and never wanted to watch it afterwards. I don't know why it's so popular. It's a depressing story. |
| cabinfever | posted 22-Dec-2006 5:28pm I'd have to say Ghost of Christmas Future. |
| LindaH | posted 22-Dec-2006 5:30pm The future, of course. I know the present and the past. Knowledge is power. |
| cloudhugger | posted 22-Dec-2006 5:49pm Present. I know the past, been there done that..the future is far too changeable, so if I could see the present and all the stuff going on behind my back that would be good enough. Although, which ghost was the coolest flyer? |
| longhaultrucker | posted 22-Dec-2006 6:29pm i don't celebrate the long haired daddy in the sky Jesus myth that loves everyone YET sends everyone to hell for things that he "made" us to do, but yeah i would like to celebrate |
| autumnlight | posted 22-Dec-2006 6:35pm Christmas past. I had some good ones when I was younger. |
| autumnlight | (reply to Liss) posted 22-Dec-2006 6:36pm Don't bother - the Muppets version is far better! |
| hypersky | posted 22-Dec-2006 7:21pm Ghost of Christmas yet to Come. Blow my mind with what the future holds for the ones I love. |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 22-Dec-2006 7:27pm > a) I don't celebrate Christmas. > b) I am not familiar with the Chrismat Carol. It's kinda depressing, sure, but Ebenezer Scrooge was a depressing old bastard. The point of the story is that if you live your life like a miserable bastard, your life will be depressing--basically that you get out of life what you put into it. The fact that the story is set in London in the 1850s or so does nothing to make it cheerful, so I guess you're right, it is depressing. |
| RGirl | posted 22-Dec-2006 9:15pm Present. I am very happy with the way things are. Hell no on the ghost of Christmas past. That would be horrid and I am afraid of the unknown, so no to the future too. What if I'm in a coma or something. |
| romkey | posted 22-Dec-2006 10:30pm I'd choose the ghost of the future so that we could chat about what's to come. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 22-Dec-2006 11:13pm Also the whole ghost business is depressing, too. Especially that one ghost that is wrapped in chains. |
| filiasan | posted 23-Dec-2006 3:02am Ghost of Christmas present, just to see what I'm missing. The future should not be seen, and the past is too painful to recount. |
| llamamama | posted 23-Dec-2006 3:47am Yet to Come...I still remember my past and I don't want to spoil this Christmas... I'd rather see if I'm going to die in a horrible fake Christmas tree accident or not.. |
| bill | posted 23-Dec-2006 8:47am past and present seem pretty harmless... future not so much ... didn't he show Ebeneezer Hell? no thanks |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 23-Dec-2006 8:48am That's for traction. Remember, it's Christmas and the roads are slippery!!! |
| ROCKMAN | posted 23-Dec-2006 9:46am I guess future. |
| Liss | (reply to autumnlight) posted 23-Dec-2006 11:56am |
| jettles | posted 23-Dec-2006 12:34pm christmas present............ i don't necessarily celebrate christmas but i see nothing wrong with this question. nothing needed to be added, those who don't want to participate shouldn't or participate because you have seen the movie or read it and want to. |
| Enheduanna | posted 23-Dec-2006 1:24pm Present. |
| Iseult | (reply to hypersky) posted 23-Dec-2006 9:36pm Ghost wheels? |
| hypersky | (reply to Iseult) posted 23-Dec-2006 10:28pm Kinda. Ectoplasmic vehicular devices. |
| Enigma | posted 23-Dec-2006 11:56pm What a toss up! If I chose Christmas past I'd hopefully get to see my dear mother again, Slaving away in the kitchen no doubt! Christmas yet to come would be a more practical choice though. |
| Zang | posted 24-Dec-2006 5:28am Ghost of Christmas blow jobs. |
| they | posted 24-Dec-2006 8:46am I imagine the 'yet to come' might be least painful. |
| mve17 | posted 24-Dec-2006 10:07am Present. |
| patarnone | posted 24-Dec-2006 3:11pm The past is past and futures should be unknown so I vote for the present. I had a bit more money to spend on gifts this year so I'm really anxious to see how much my friends like what I bought them! |
| Amanda | posted 26-Dec-2006 1:23am Ghost of Christmas past. |
| gsummers | (reply to jettles) posted 30-Dec-2006 1:16pm thanks Jettles. |
| Gomezy3k | posted 31-Dec-2006 6:18am Well I don't really celebrate christmas... I did put upthe inflatable Grinch and put the "Bah Humbug" door mat out (and no I am not kidding I really have them)... I have never had what might be called a "Merry" christmas or even a moderately happy one... So, the Past and Present Ghosts are out... And, as for my death, well when I go I want to be cremated and ashes dumped out in the desert so there is nothing to show where my final resting place is, so the Ghost of the "Yet to Come" is pretty much a moot point also... So, I want to be visited by the Ghost of Marilyn Monroe... Woof.. Now there would be a ghost... |
| jettles | (reply to gsummers) posted 1-Jan-2007 8:34am most welcome |
