Most of my bills are setup to automatically withdraw from my bank account. Then there are a few others that I pay by check through the mail.

I pay my credit cards online. Some bills are automatically charged to a credit card or withdrawn from my bank account. And I have a few that I mail checks out for.

Online. Stamps cost too much and snailmail is too much of a hassle. Takes too long to get there.

Right now I only have credit card bills and I pay them online. When I return to the states I will continue that, but pay my other bills via mail.

In Mexico the way we pay bills is by going to the office or bank when they are due. It's a lot of running around, but the mail system here isn't like the U.S. So we go to telecable to pay the Internet, Bancomer to pay the electric, etc.

When they arrive in the mail I open them and use a pen to circle the amount owing and the due date. I leave them on the kitchen table. The next time I go to a bank machine, I pay them. When I get home, I write the amount paid and the date on the bill and then I put them in a drawer.

I guess that would be "Other". I suppose paying bills via the bank machine must be a rather unusual technique, given that there's no specific option for that.

Most in person, a few by mail, like the phone bill and truck payment.

My dad takes care of that, I just give him the money to. He is very good when it comes to doing such stuff and I'm not, so I just let him do it.

Mostly in person or over the phone. Sometimes by mail. I used to pay my cell phone bill online, but don't anymore.
