No. I was guilty as charged. I pled guilty. I was fined $9000 reduced to $900. I was sentenced to a year in jail reduced to one day in a women's first offender program. I lost my driver's license for 90 days and was made to attend a DUI Victims panel and go through a 5 hour session of alcohol school. My lawyer cost me $2500. To get my license back I have to get special insurance, pay a fine to the DOL and have a breathaliser installed on any vehicle I operate for a full year at my expense.....
Luckily....I didn't kill anyone that night when I blew a .158
Those few drinks I had that night cost me a whole lot more money than I ever could have imagined BUT they did not cost me or anyone else their life.
I now walk everywhere because I cannot afford to get my license back.
My car was repossessed because I couldn't make the payments due to the expense incurred for getting caught driving under the influence.
Next time a friend offers to call you a cab.....say yes. |

No. The only times I have ever been falsly accused of anything, it has been by powerless nobodies.
The general public is a lot more harsh, condemning and assuming than the justice system could ever hope to be. |

No. Been interrogated for something I really did but I fooled them like any good Mr. Ripley can do. |

No. The closest I came to this was I was in a car accident and didn't have my insurance card with me. I had to go to court with it to show the judge that I did in fact have insurance, just didn't have the card with me. |

No. I've been arrested twice, but I was never brought up on charges. They were both juvenile offenses. I've never been falsely accused of anything. |

Yes... When I was seventeen... I got my first ticket.
The ticket was for passing a school bus with it's stop sign out. The bus driver gave a false account to the police... and what I did was really far less dangerous than that. I nervously explained it to the judge who dismissed. |

Somewhat. I was charged with distribution simply by handing someone a rolling pan and telling them to roll their own joint since I don't know how to roll & don't smoke pot. He happened to be a narc. I got out of that one. |
