Yes, cooked properly (and when they're small), they're delicious.

Well yes I do. So does my husband. My daughter does not. We call them tiny little cabbages (not cute enough to get her to eat them) she says they look like brains. * rolls eyes *

No. The texture is okay, the taste is a bit on the sour side, and the gas it generates is a major cause of global warming.

One of my favourites! I've noticed that they seem to be a vegetable that people seem to love or hate. You don't find a lot of indifference when the subject is brussels sprouts. They are best served with roast beef or turkey.

ROCKMAN

I like all of them and eat them all the time and none of them affect me like that.

I did do a survey because of this. "What food/foods cause you gas?"
Enigma Bronze Star Survey Creator
(reply to madhatter) posted 13-Dec-2006 9:41am

Broccoli? Brains with large brain stems maybe... never thought of them that way. You know what really looks like brains? Chestnuts after you roast and peel them. Totally looks like brains.

Put a photo of yourself on your user page because I'm visualizing you weighing 350 pounds, and I hope that is not true (health wise). From your posts...you are engaged but never getting married and you like beer (a lot) and you use the gross word 'squirter' * rolls eyes *
ROCKMAN
(reply to MiniMary) posted 20-Dec-2006 5:42am

Now I have only used that word once to my knowlege.
I'm no where near 350 pounds and in exelent shape. I don't have any pictures to post now, but there was one on a web page I had attached to my user page but it was conected to webtv which I have canceled. There are others here who saw it though. I'm sure they will tell you what I look like basicly.

ROCKMAN
(reply to blondie20) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:19am

Oh it's a blast! I have big get-to-gethers like that all the time. All my biker friends and all the horse friends add up to a lot of friends. This year I'll be doing two whole hogs in smokers and probably 8 or 10 briskets and some chickens. I work my ass off doing all this but I have fun.
blondie20

ROCKMAN

You better believe it. I like doing it and I have always had the room to throw a big outside party. Maybe you ought to try and start something.
blondie20
(reply to ROCKMAN) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:32am

I've tried, I just can't get everybody together. It would have to be at my best friends house, she has more room and a big pool. Hopefully there will be a lot of pool parties this summer.
ROCKMAN

I have a whole lake now. Water gets involved a lot now. Boat rides and the personal water crafts, skiing, tubing, fishing. Hell we do it all. Some of my partys last 2 or 3 days for quite a few people.
