Yes, cooked properly (and when they're small), they're delicious. |
Enigma | | posted 11-Dec-2006 10:02am |
Well yes I do. So does my husband. My daughter does not. We call them tiny little cabbages (not cute enough to get her to eat them) she says they look like brains. |
Galomorro | | posted 11-Dec-2006 10:58am |
Not really but will eat them. |

No. The texture is okay, the taste is a bit on the sour side, and the gas it generates is a major cause of global warming. |
Zang | | posted 12-Dec-2006 1:16am |
One of my favourites! I've noticed that they seem to be a vegetable that people seem to love or hate. You don't find a lot of indifference when the subject is brussels sprouts. They are best served with roast beef or turkey. |
| ROCKMAN | | posted 12-Dec-2006 5:55am |
Oh yeah I love'em. Eat them all the time. |

They don't seem to affect me. |

Broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts are brutal on me, especially if beer has been imbibed as well. |
| mandy | | posted 12-Dec-2006 2:31pm |
I HATED them as a child. Now I'm addicted. I like them still slightly crisp with butter and salt!!!!!!!!!!! |

| madhatter | | posted 12-Dec-2006 11:45pm |
I don't really care for them, i'm a carnivore, love to eat meat, hell with veggies, i would rather take vitamins to make up the lost nutrients then eat some green weed with no flavor |
| madhatter | | (reply to Enigma) posted 12-Dec-2006 11:46pm |
Doesent brocoli look like little brains also? |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to hypersky) posted 13-Dec-2006 5:26am |
I like all of them and eat them all the time and none of them affect me like that.
I did do a survey because of this. "What food/foods cause you gas?" |
Enigma | | (reply to madhatter) posted 13-Dec-2006 9:41am |
Broccoli? Brains with large brain stems maybe... never thought of them that way. You know what really looks like brains? Chestnuts after you roast and peel them. Totally looks like brains. |
| madhatter | | (reply to Enigma) posted 13-Dec-2006 3:53pm |

| ROCKMAN | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 19-Dec-2006 5:50am |
Nothing really. I like brussel srouts and had just had some and thought it was time for me to do another survey.
If you look back through my past surveys you will see I have done a lot of them about food. |
| MiniMary | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 19-Dec-2006 11:52am |
Put a photo of yourself on your user page because I'm visualizing you weighing 350 pounds, and I hope that is not true (health wise). From your posts...you are engaged but never getting married and you like beer (a lot) and you use the gross word 'squirter' |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 20-Dec-2006 5:42am |
Now I have only used that word once to my knowlege.
I'm no where near 350 pounds and in exelent shape. I don't have any pictures to post now, but there was one on a web page I had attached to my user page but it was conected to webtv which I have canceled. There are others here who saw it though. I'm sure they will tell you what I look like basicly. |
| MiniMary | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 20-Dec-2006 2:56pm |
But, shucks, I didn't see it! (I hated the word when you used it...but it happens if you manipulate the G spot...just the right way, it's 80% diluted vaginal fluid.) |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 21-Dec-2006 4:26am |
Thanks for the percentage info!
I'll try not to use that word again,ok? |
| MiniMary | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 21-Dec-2006 2:41pm |

Do you have a photo on your horse, as a cowboy? |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 22-Dec-2006 4:38am |
I did have one on my user page, but that is gone/lost. I don't have a way right now to post pictures. I'll see what I can do. |

Big Dick's is not to far down the lake from me. I go down ther to eat quite a bit. I have done a lot of minnow shots too. |

Minnow shots? (You know that I don't know what that is Randy.) |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to MiniMary) posted 27-Dec-2006 7:32pm |
It's a shot of your choice of whiskey with a live minnow dropped in. Then you do your shot. Yummy!! |
| MiniMary | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 28-Dec-2006 12:39pm |
I don't believe you. You drink live fish? I cannot imagine it! |

I've never tried them seasoned. I'm sure they probably do taste better that way.

I've cooked them on the grill and they came out great. I'll smoke cabbage too and it is real good. I smother them in butter and some of my own 20 spice mix. |

My 4th of July party, I usually have to cook for 150 people or more. I have two propane burners like above but I also have regular gas burners for normal size pots and pans. |
| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:10am |
Whoa 150 people or more. That sounds like a kick ass party. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to blondie20) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:19am |
Oh it's a blast! I have big get-to-gethers like that all the time. All my biker friends and all the horse friends add up to a lot of friends. This year I'll be doing two whole hogs in smokers and probably 8 or 10 briskets and some chickens. I work my ass off doing all this but I have fun. |
| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:23am |
My bunch never has any big parties That sounds like a lot of fun, especially with the bikers and all. They know how to party. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to blondie20) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:28am |
You better believe it. I like doing it and I have always had the room to throw a big outside party. Maybe you ought to try and start something. |
| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:32am |
I've tried, I just can't get everybody together. It would have to be at my best friends house, she has more room and a big pool. Hopefully there will be a lot of pool parties this summer. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to blondie20) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:38am |
I have a whole lake now. Water gets involved a lot now. Boat rides and the personal water crafts, skiing, tubing, fishing. Hell we do it all. Some of my partys last 2 or 3 days for quite a few people. |
| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 22-Feb-2007 6:43am |

| ROCKMAN | | (reply to blondie20) posted 23-Feb-2007 5:43am |

| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 23-Feb-2007 6:13am |
I don't think so, maybe it's just from the stress from the past couple of weeks. I haven't been sleeping well at all, that's why I have been getting online this early. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to blondie20) posted 23-Feb-2007 6:20am |

| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 23-Feb-2007 6:24am |
I'd say in a couple of hours, I'll be able to get some rest, not a lot. I bet it does get lonely on here this early. |
| ROCKMAN | | (reply to blondie20) posted 23-Feb-2007 6:27am |
Bill is on sometimes. One or two others might pop in here or there. That's about it though. Once I get my day going I rarely ever get back on-line. |
| blondie20 | | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 23-Feb-2007 6:30am |
