Portugal. Because I have a strong attraction to certain old Lisbon neighborhoods; traditional Portuguese folkdance and music, the language, etc.

Italy is at the top of my list right now, since I haven't been there and it's supposed to be incredible. I also love the food.

Australia. My college roommate was from Oz as is a friend I haven't seen in too long. It just seems like a fascinating place. There used to be several companies in Australia that ran flying vacations down there for pilots. They'd help you with the necessary paperwork, rent you a plane, and give you information about flying in the area. I think that would have been a wonderful way to see the country. Unfortunately, someone decided that the rules should be "tightened up", in the name of security you know, and those business have gone the way of the dodo.

Tanzania, specifically Zanzibar. About 15 years ago, I took a trip around the world for four months. I went with my girlfriend at the time. It gave me a taste for what I like when I'm traveling. I like exotic places. I also found that I enjoyed staying in one place for a long time, long enough to really get a feel for it. I also thought it might be nice to try traveling alone. That way I could stick to my own schedule, do my own thing, probably meet and mix with more and different people (not that we didn't do a lot of that). So I kind of have this idea of going there, checking into a cheap (ish) hotel for a few months, somewhere in Stone Town, which is the old part of Zanzibar City and just hanging out, meeting people, getting a real feel for the place.

I would like to visit Canada to meet some of my SC brethren. I would also love to see Australia, Ireland, and Scotland for the scenery and history.

A friend of mine has visited Amsterdam 5 times and highly recommends it. The people especially, and their easygoing, openminded way of living.

Italy. I've been there before, but I'd love to go back. I just love it. I'd also like to go to France and Egypt. Mostly just to experience their culture firsthand

I much admire their architecture, their liberalness, their habit of riding bicycles everywhere -- so many things that America should take note of.

Greece to see the temples and other ancient architecture and statues of the ancient Greeks. But just as much I'd like to go to England to visit the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey etc. It's a tie.

At Oshkosh one year, talking with the guys from one of those air tour companies, I asked if, by any chance, he knew Simon. Oh yes. He flies gliders, right? Australia is a small place, I guess.

That's a great question! I would most like to visit Mexico. Well, I'm already there, but I haven't seen very many parts yet. It's very big, with varied culture and foods, and it's very friendly. Next would be Ireland. I also want to visit some important cities of the world, like Toronto, Paris, and London.:

To visit, India.
To live, New Zealand.

I'd like to travel to all the most exotic cultures and terrains, but it's not tremendously important to me, I can watch movies and get a rough idea.
