When you meet groups of people that you haven't met before, are you normally one of the talkative ones or are you more of a listener?

depends. If their friendly, social, people and it's a friendly-social gathering, I'm rather talkative. If they're professionals, particularly people who know a lot more than I do about whatever is going on, I tend to be quieter. My reaction tends to differ depending on whether it's a social or professional situation.

If it is work related I tend to be a talker. If it is personal I am a listener.

If there is at least one more person in a room, I am talkative, regardless.

I am generally a listener, but I have noticed that in recent years I am becoming more of a talker. I'm starting to embrace some leadership qualities in my personality that I've ignored.

i tend to be a listener until i feel comfortable enough and someone gets me talking. then there's just no stopping me, i fear.

I am the watcher. I don't really even listen but I do get such an incredible kick out of watching people interreact.

Just depends on my mood. After I get to know people I am definately the talker. It depends also on if everyone else already knows each other. If that's the case, I am a listener. I never want to feel like I'm intruding on or messing up their conversation.

It depends on whether the group is talkative or quiet. If there is one person dominating the conversation, I don't compete. If everyone is quiet, I try to get a conversation going
