If I believed in this, I'd be more of a love spell kind of person. |

Sure. A couple of times I've felt very angry and hurt by someone and wished I could do something like that, to hurt them. But I couldn't, and that was certainly for the best. |

Yes, I've wished I could.... but then, I am reminded of that old adage about wishing ill to others will bring it on you. I would have made the curse that my former stepfather could never, ever have another erection, and that he would have the uncontrollable urge to confess all his sins at a public news conference. I'd pay money to see that. |

Yes, of course I've wished that. |
Melf |
Yes, but it's a load of crap. I'd feel like a vengeance demon |

maybe, sort of, but not seriously |

It's just vengeance or revenge and it is never acceptable.....and if it makes you feel good, there is always karma. |

Am I the only one who thought of that episode of the Simpsons where the old gypsy crone says to Homer "Ah, the cursed one. How's that curse I cursed you with, Curs-ty?", to which he replies "I know you don't remember me, but..."
Oh and, no .. I haven't. |
Enheduanna |
I may have when I was younger; I don't remember. But I certainly haven't in the past ten or fifteen years.
My best friend put a "curse" on me when we were teenagers--I bought her a little pendant with a crystal ball in it, and she cursed me to become physically involved with a worthless bum of a guy. I guess you could call that hedging your bets, but it did come true, as I have been physically involved with a couple worthless bums. I think I still have the piece of paper that she wrote the curse on somewhere. |

You are so right. Right about the Karma too. The old "what goes around comes around".

People should just do the right thing. It makes life so much easier. |

I'm a lot more tolerant of people than that. I don't think I've ever disliked anyone enough that I would start fantasising about bringing down the full wrath of supernatural forces upon their miserable existence. |
| Wackadoo |
Yes, of course. If I had the power to do it. I wouldn't harm the person but I would make them miserable! |
gambler |
Yes, haven't we all?............. same as wishing someone was dead |
LindaH | | (reply to gambler) posted 4-Oct-2006 8:56pm |
No, we all haven't. I was always wishing something would happen to make them nice. |
gambler | | (reply to LindaH) posted 4-Oct-2006 9:00pm |
Thats very commendable, but I think most people in the heat of anger/rage either as a child or as an adult has wished someone were dead? ..... you are obviously in the minority....... I guess its a better way to be |

Someone stole my backpack which contained 500 bucks worth of merchandise. I very much wish i could curse that person. I've also always wanted to put a curse on my Mountain Bike. I'm really big into mountain biking, I love my bike like a child. I'm always paranoid of it getting stolen so I've wanted to put a curse on it in the case that it is ever stolen. |
cloudhugger |
No, because I believe that what you do unto others comes back to you sevenfold, or more. ie: the Golden Rule. I wouldn't want such a thing to come back to me. Besides, it's very immature. |
cloudhugger | | (reply to dilfreak) posted 5-Oct-2006 5:12pm |
Not very christian like, now is that? |

That's not really that bad to think of it as cursing someone, I think you are merely protecting the masses and helping the man cleanse himself of his sins.

I'm sure I wished this when I was a lot younger. Not something that I would think about now, though. |
| cabinfever |
Well, since this survey was about curses, that was all I could come up with. But if there was a survey about what I would like to do to him if I should ever see him again..... |
cloudhugger |
If there was an emoticon for "I can't hear you..." I would remain an innocent bystander. |
| ROCKMAN |
I've never wish a curse on someone because it can't really be done. I don't think? |
| JessicaWoman99 |
No and I do not believe in this , and I do not wish it upon anybody |

Yes but some times people get angry over really small things, and some times these things aren't even intentional. For instance if you really hate some one for doing some thing really bad, and they didn't entirely intend for the situation to came out that badly, and than a few days later they apoligize to you for what happened, after claiming that you really hate them. Than the next day they get hit by a car, a few days ago you would have been really happy they got what hit. But does it change because they apoligized for the incidence. |

If you're gonna wish for something you'd better make it and good that sounds like a good one to me. |

No. People have to live with their own Karma. My input is not necessary. |
