A person should never quit smoking. Everyone should smoke, especially children. Think of all the wonderful benefits of smoking. My son's 7 and he's up to a pack a day. I'm trying to get him to smoke more. My goal is to have him smoking 2 packs a day by the end of the year. |

In my defense. I kept reading it as 'what is a good age to start smoking. That is why I asked for the 'never' option. |
LJD | | posted 11-Sep-2006 1:54am |
The best thing is to never start smoking. I've never smoked in my life, and I've heard it is a tough habit to break, but can be stopped... |
| Venetian2416 | | posted 11-Sep-2006 2:22am |
Anytime. Preferably earlier on in life but it's up to the smoker. |

What kind of a dumb question is this? |
| clare | | (reply to Zang) posted 11-Sep-2006 3:52am |
Congratulations. I don't think I've come across a survey before now that shows all zeros on the options. |
| clare | | (reply to RGirl) posted 11-Sep-2006 3:54am |
It did say "start smoking" originally. It looks like he was getting a lot of requests to add a "never" option, which he did, but then he changed the question too. |
| kirst | | posted 11-Sep-2006 6:16am |
Now. Smoking cigarettes is a really ignorant habit. Quit now!
Silly options on this survey as well. I don't think many under 10's smoke. |
bill | | posted 11-Sep-2006 7:27am |
This smells like a Zang survey... reminds me of the "When did you stop beating your wife?" question... I tried to make a survey about that, but I chickened-out when I got resistance to it in qual. |

I believe that the question was different when you requested that option, and it made sense. Zang is just being zangy these days

That would be because the original version actually said that.

Anytime. Just don't start in the first place. Why do kids think it is so "cool" to smoke? First of all, think of all the money you could be spending on other things, not to mention it's an unhealthy habit, smells bad, and turns other people off when they have to walk thru a crowd of people outside smoking on the sidewalk. |

Good ideas. You also should burn pot in the babie's room to help quiet the rugrat down for sleep.

Why on earth would you do that instead of making a new survey? They are two completely different surveys. |

I quit when I was 15. Of course I never got addicted or anything. Smoking is the most unhealthy (yet publically accepted) thing that a person can do. I absolutely hate it. |
Zang |
> Smoking is the most unhealthy (yet

I suppose public acceptance varies by locality. It certainly isn't considered acceptable around here. I'd venture to say that using an automobile is the most unhealthy thing a person can do. More people are killed and injured from automobile accidents than any other individual cause. Next to that would probably be eating an unhealthy diet.
