YES! It's okay to wear white shorts in in the dead of winter, if one feels so inclined. It's also okay to wear black in the summer. These silly rules about what colors to wear and when are absolutely pointless and absurd. No one should care what colors other people have on.

If you want to, yes it is ok. I don't think the fashion rules apply any more.

The white after labor thing went out the window a couple of years ago. Wear what you want when you want. It is what makes you you.

I don't think it's ever okay to wear white shorts. But, if you feel like you want to wear them, wear them whenever you please.

Where are the options??

Yes, it is. Pay no attention to those dorks in the fashion world. Some of them think this is fashionable: image

Today, anything goes, and the old rules are gone. Just make sure you wear a thong or flesh-colored underwear.... dark panties or bras under lighter clothing will NEVER be in style.

Why wouldn't it be? Wear shorts any day of the year if you want, if it's warm enough, any color you want. That question sounds vaguely like something one's grandparents would have said: was it don't wear white shoes after Labor Day? Can't remember. Why would anyone say a certain color shouldn't be worn after a certain time? Anyone know?

It's better to wear shorts after Labor Day. Less chance of sitting on bluberry pie and ruining them.

What the hell? Well I don't give a damn what anyone wears at any time, so sure wear two pares of white shorts if you want!!!! And besides it's always after labor day!!!!!!!!!!

The options are in your brain.....you should use them some time.
cabinfever
(reply to CGTREE) posted 9-Sep-2006 11:45pm
Excuse me, young man? Do you get nasty and uppity with every user who asks where the options are on a survey? Simple yes, no, and undecided options would have been a good way to track the numbers.... but then, I see that little thought escaped you.

> wear two
> pares of white shorts if you want!!!!

Speaking of using your brain, where the hell was yours when you typed that?

CGTREE
(reply to cabinfever) posted 10-Sep-2006 2:01pm
No No I thought about the numbers.... I just don't see why people constantly have to ask where the options are. Why can't people just accept the fact that some surveys have no options........ I mean...like big deal they have no statistics.... Just answer the survey and get on with it. ( I guess it was also a bit of a bad day when I typed that too)
CGTREE
(reply to iamdonte) posted 10-Sep-2006 2:06pm
Well some times a bit of abrasiveness has to come out... And I just really don't like it when people ask where the options are... It's pretty obvious that some people who make surveys don't always use options.... and people should deal with that, and not have to always say "hey where are the options." I don't get anoyed very often by very much but this is just one of those things....
cabinfever
(reply to CGTREE) posted 10-Sep-2006 2:45pm
Okay, no problem... after I sent that message I was actually feeling a little bit bad about it.... you and I have had some good exchanges, and I didn't think it was your usual MO to be nasty. A bit dry, sometimes, but not nasty. I don't always ask where the options are.... this is only about the third time since I've been here. But this survey seemed to scream for at least a 'yes' or 'no'. I do understand that some surveys have no need for options, made a couple myself. So shall we blow this off as a bad day's misplaced tiffiness? I have no problem with that.

Oh right, you guys don't do Labour Day at all, do you? In North America, it's the first Monday in September. In Australia/New Zealand they celebrate it in October, although some parts of Australia observe it in March. In Europe, it is usually observed on May 1st.

Labour Day commemorates the courageous men and women who fought and died so that we today could all have a minimum wage, a forty hour work week, overtime pay, a safe workplace, an end to child labour etc.

What is the whole no white after labor day thing anyway? The only reason I wouldn't is that its kinda cold where I live (after labor day) and I'm too messy to own anything white. Getting them dirty is inevitable.
