Do you like your first name?

Indifferent.
There are names I like better, but it's not exactly a bad name either.

Used to. Growing up it was very unusual. I got compliments on it all of the time. Now it is too common. I want my first name to be my user name, pennyann.

I try to think of it as just a name, a designation, it might as well be a number. Like or dislike shouldn't come into it...

I didn't like it when I was young... but it's such an old name. I like old names... it's why I named my daughter Mary... My first name is Amy.

I'm ok with it. I kind of wonder though,my sister was named after my grandmother and my brother after my grandfather.......I was named after nobody! That's ok I guess, I wouldn't have wanted to be a Alice, Jean, Elvira or a Betty anyway.

Yes, i do except when I'm on the phone - WHY - when I'm on the phone do people think I say "Hello - this is Shannon, Dana, Danna, Shanna, Randi, Donna, Jayne, Jenna, Johnna, , Rhonda, Shayna"? clean your ears out people!!! I do not speak with that thick of an accent. My name is Jana. with an aaaaa sound as in apple. It pisses me off when I answer the phone stating my name and people repeat it back to me wrong. Sometimes, I have corrected them as many as FIVE times before they say it right. (COME ON! It's TWO syllables!!!) Most times, i just don't bother, but it does get under my skin.

Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairies, she gives these very humorous 'fairy' accounts, them misbehaving & getting her into trouble. Her pressed fairies are her slamming her book shut on them. It is a little morbid but all in fun, very funny too. The water colors are awesome. They come in all shapes and forms. Some are nice and some are mischievous.

I suppose if I could change it (with no paperwork and such) it might be fun to rename myself...but could you imagine the ridiculous names that would be floating about if it were that easy?

My full name is Patricia Louise Arnone. Patricia for the Italian and Louise for my Norwegian Grandfather, Lewis.

I was "Patti" as a child and got the nickname PL, for Patricia Louise, in my 20's.

If I had a nom de plume, like for a book, it'd be Louisa de Falco. My Sicilian Grandfather was from Boca de Falco (mouth/beak of the falcon) just west of Palermo.

I like it, but I don't like some of the nicknames I've been called.
