Would you consider living in a "clothing optional" apartment or condo building?

The building is attractive and clean. The price is reasonable. It's in a great part of town. The people who live there are friendly. Everything about the place appeals to you. The only thing is that it is clothing optional. You don't have to go nude but some of the people who live there may do so.

Maybe if it was repulsive and dirty, cost too much and was in a bad part of town with mean people and everything about it was unappealing to me.

If it was optional to be nude at the pool maybe, but not all over the apartment complex.

No, as provincial as this may sound, I think nudist colonies are more about orgies than anything else. I love my wife dearly, and I only want to have sex with her. And I want to be the only with whom she has sex.

No, not now. I have my three-year-old to consider. In my mid-twenties, yeah, I would have considered it.

I don't think I would like living in an apartment or condo, regardless of the clothing option. I would be more likely to buy a house.

I'm all for clothing optional, but I'm afraid that would just seem a bit too weird.

I've been to clothing optional beaches and lived with roommates that had a pretty much clothing optional attitude. That's a lot different. When you go to the beach you're prepared for it. When you live in a place where people you know quite well wander around nude sometimes, it's like; "hey, we're in our own home". I don't think I would feel comfortable bringing guests over and having the possibility of getting on the elevator with old Mr. Xiang from next door when he's not wearing pants.

I'm unlikely to ever want to live in a condo or apartment building, so no for that reason. The clothing optional thing really is irrelevant to me.

Sure, why not? If everything else agrees with me, then who cares whether some people want to run around nude.

No, but not because I'm opposed to nudity. I like living in a house or duplex, not an apartment or condo.

No...that's icky..
Though I'd rather live there then in a building where you had to wear spandex...
No sense in squishing it in a tight fabric..

I would love it.

I'd never go topless, but I'd run down to the mailboxes in my tshirt and panties.

As my neighbors have probably known for a while, my front porch is clothing optional in this way.... I'll go sit out there in my shirt and panties at night and have a smoke.

I work at home..... so I rarely wear pants around the house. * grin *

If your in your own place it wouldn't matter would it? If I owned or rented an apartment or condo I could do what I want inside. Once your outside though it would be a city thing I would guess.

If the price and location are reasonable and the building is clean, I'd have to say yes.. granted, I don't think I would be part of the nudist colony inside, but I could tolerate it....Unless I had small children... How do explain to them that youhave to wear clothes in public around strangers, but not in public, around strangers where you live?

When I lived in San Diego the only beach I went to was Black's Beach (clothing optionalj). I'm too cheap to buy a swimsuit.

The only one I have, and now that I think of it I left it at my buddy's place because he has a pool...anyway, it was a gift. I don't believe I've ever bought myself a swimsuit...

It would depend on the heat. I love to be nude or semi nude but wouldn't like to be cold.

Nudity does not equal sex.

I have a three-year-old as well. She sees us naked on a daily basis. For her it's normal.
Do you really think it hurts for a three-year-old to see someone naked?
cabinfever
(reply to Maarten) posted 6-Dec-2006 9:06pm
Hurt her? No. But my husband has become a lot more modest since she has started pointing at his penis and saying, "Daddy's pee-pee!" She also tried to pee standing up a few times. At the time I wrote my response the thing I was thinking of is the perverts that would move there for a hopeful sight of a naked woman or little girl.

I would really like that. I think that society puts too many hang ups upon themselves, we were made nude, and if someone is comfortable with it within a group of likeminded individuals I see no reason not to be naked as it was intended.

Since I've been nude in my apartment complex laundry room, sure, but only when I was younger and without children
