Through a mutual friend. It wasn't a set-up or anything, though.

I met my husband through a neighbor. My husband and my parentsI lived across the street from each other for many years. When I first saw my husband I was sitting in a tree, and was 12 years old, he was 22 years old. I thought he was an old man, but all the girls in the neighborhood had a big crush on him. To make it short, after that he married, I agraduated, married. He divorced, I divorced...had never spoken before that. A neighbor, a much older woman had a crush on my husband, I heard he was quite a family man, which is very attractive to me.. to me the sexiest man is a good husband, and father. Anyway we started dating, was married a year later, I was 21 years old. If I only knew then, what I know now....LOL

Okay.. I was dating a guy named Dave... He took me to a hibachi restaurant on our first date. The hibachi chef was cute... but I dated dave for another month or so before we ended it.

After Dave and I ended, I took some friends back up to the hibachi grill... because it was a cool place. We got really drunk on sake bombs... and I kept checking out that chef that had cooked for me and Dave.

Anyway, my drunken frined ended up handing Ben my number. I was so wasted on sake at that point, so I'm glad I made a good choice.

We've been seeing each other since October.

I don't currently have an SO, but I'm dating three guys.

I met Don through family. I met Jerry through work. I met Vince at a bar.

He worked at the same place as me, but in a different department. Then my assistant manager had a party, and we got to know each other there.

I'm currently a swingin' bachelor. I met my last girlfriend at a wedding. Her son is very good friends of one of my friend's younger brothers, that being the groom. So there were friends, family and a party involved.

On that occasion, there was just a lot of rampant flirting going on. It wasn't until quite a few years later that I met her again at my friend's 40th birthday party. I actually did something extremely uncharacteristic; I asked her out! In the past, it was always my habit to let women pick me up. I like aggressive women.

Her eyes lit up and she said she had the perfect guy for me. I rolled my eyes and said that he probably liked skinny blondes. She shook her head and gestured at her own heavily padded self and said he liked women with some meat on their bones. Later she had me come over to her place, and he showed up. We chatted and after I left, he got my number from our friend.

I was at a little bar that had local musicians playing accoustic instruments. My friend thought I would be interested in her guy's friend, but as I watched them play I said "No. He's not my type." Then this guy walked in and started to play with them. I said, "He's my type." After a couple of songs they stopped and he looked my way. Immediately he came over and started talking to me. We both had the attraction immediately and we've been together for a year.
