| Enigma | posted 9-Jul-2006 11:24pm O V E R it has to be O V E R |
| ausfox | posted 9-Jul-2006 11:26pm Over. I hate it being under. In fact, I used to change the roll over if it was hung under when I was at someone else's house. I cured myself of that though and I leave it alone now. Still has to be over at my house though. |
| RGirl | posted 9-Jul-2006 11:35pm Don't care, as long as it's there. |
| LindaH | posted 9-Jul-2006 11:47pm Over. You can hold the top with one hand and rip with the other, and you have control over how many sheets you tear off. If it is hung under and you hold the top, you never know where it's going to rip. |

| Amanda | posted 10-Jul-2006 11:49am Over. Caleb always puts the roll on under in his bathroom. When I go in there, it annoys me and I change it. |
| bigbust | posted 10-Jul-2006 11:49am it makes sense |
| Enheduanna | posted 10-Jul-2006 11:58am Over. |
| cerealkiller | posted 10-Jul-2006 12:59pm How about "neither"? In my bathroom I'm too lazy to put it on the roll at all. It just sits on the vanity sink. |
| clare | (reply to Amanda) posted 10-Jul-2006 1:35pm Does he change it back? |
| Amanda | (reply to clare) posted 10-Jul-2006 1:52pm No. I doubt he even notices. He's only 7, so I'm sure it doesn't bother him one way or the other. I don't think he even puts on on going under purposely. It just happens that way. I shouldn't complain, though. At least he does change the roll! |
| clare | (reply to Amanda) posted 10-Jul-2006 1:56pm I wish I could teach Rick, my roommate to do that. He'll use the spare roll on the back of the toilet and then put it back there instead of putting it on the spindle. |
| kitti723 | posted 10-Jul-2006 2:06pm I believe over is proper etiquette is it not? |
| Amanda | (reply to clare) posted 10-Jul-2006 2:43pm Good luck with that! |
| kirst | posted 10-Jul-2006 4:36pm Over. Definitely over. I used to be an under fan but on our last boat, we had stainless steel flaps that hung over the roll. You had to put the toilet paper over in order to easily get paper. I totally switched to the over method after that. In fact, my husband changed the roll last night and hung it under. It annoyed me this morning but I have yet to change the roll to the over position. I'm happy that he changed the roll. |
| clare | (reply to Amanda) posted 10-Jul-2006 7:05pm Yeah. It's easier to teach a child than an adult. |
| ultamate | posted 10-Jul-2006 7:52pm when I was married with 3 kids I would have been happy if someone would have just hung the toilet paper up! |
| hypersky | posted 10-Jul-2006 10:19pm Over, please. |

| CarolL | (reply to Amanda) posted 10-Jul-2006 11:51pm you are such a control freak...let him have long hair and hang is toilet paper under |
| LindaH | posted 11-Jul-2006 2:50am That asswipe is always hung over! |
| cloudhugger | posted 11-Jul-2006 9:56am I used to prefer 'over' but my spirit has been broken to go with the 'over'. |

You outdid yourself on this one. |

| Amanda | (reply to CarolL) posted 11-Jul-2006 6:55pm I'm just trying to make sure he can make some woman super happy one day. I've even got him putting the toilet seat down. |
| CGTREE | posted 11-Jul-2006 7:12pm OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the love of gawld!!! I can never find the end of the paper if it is under....and then it pisses me off....so I have to have over.!!!!! |
| CGTREE | (reply to kitti723) posted 11-Jul-2006 7:16pm Etiquette is the stupidest thing in the world.....I do what makes sense to me...never mind what society says is the "proper etiquette way" and the way that makes most sence is for it to be over. |
| chol | posted 11-Jul-2006 7:17pm It is difficult to get the paper rolling again if the loose end is stuck to the role, if it is "under." |
| Sunrise | posted 11-Jul-2006 11:45pm LOL thief...I won't make that mistake again, but it was a good survey, LOL |
| clare | (reply to Sunrise) posted 12-Jul-2006 12:30am Thief? Is that directed at me? |
| Sunrise | (reply to clare) posted 12-Jul-2006 12:35am really not sure, I was the one who put out the toilet paper survey...I must say I did so very badly, so who ever picked it up...hats off...I still think it was a good survey...I mean no insult be sure of that
|
| RGirl | (reply to Sunrise) posted 12-Jul-2006 12:37am Some one stole your survey? |
| clare | (reply to Sunrise) posted 12-Jul-2006 12:42am That's okay. I wasn't sure if you were commenting to me. |
| clare | (reply to Biggles) posted 12-Jul-2006 12:43am I found them on google. I'm not at all artistic. |
| Sunrise | (reply to clare) posted 12-Jul-2006 12:49am no, I do know now that you put out this survey, but I put same survey out last week and did a poor job in the presentation of it...so I deleted it. I am still trying to figure this site out not the people, just how too, be sure I ment no offense at all. Because it is a good survey.

| shorty189 | posted 12-Jul-2006 8:40am over, looks nicer. |
| kitti723 | (reply to CGTREE) posted 12-Jul-2006 10:57am I agree etiquette is not important, I was merely making a observation of what is "proper". Crap, I barely drive between 2 lines or stop at stop signs. Believe me, I do not follow the "rules" most of the time. |

| clare | (reply to cerealkiller) posted 14-Jul-2006 2:50pm I guess I should have thought of that, especially since my roommate will use a new roll and put it on the back of the toilet instead of hanging it on the spindle. |
| MiniMary | posted 14-Jul-2006 3:41pm Hung over...I believe you have more control of the distribution of it. |
| w_wanderers | posted 15-Jul-2006 12:32am Very good! Love the drawings, even though I understood what you meant from the words alone. I prefer over because I find it easier to grab the end of the paper and break it. |
| verouge | posted 15-Jul-2006 8:29pm over, it helps me taking out my garbage from my A S S.

Less chance of it coming in contact with anything, like the dusty holder. |
