| bill | posted 9-Jul-2006 10:20am I take a logical approach. I try to see the problem from different angles. I consider a variety of solutions, weighing the pros and cons. Usually, I discuss it with my wife (most important decisions I make involve both of us). Eventually, we come to a conclusion about which approach is best and we do that. Then, later, we may evaluate if the decision worked out as we hoped, or not. |
| LindaH | posted 9-Jul-2006 11:34am Depends on the situation. Most of the time I am cautious, but I'm reckless when I need to be. |
| Venetian2416 | posted 9-Jul-2006 12:01pm I let someone else make important decisions for me. |
| Enheduanna | posted 9-Jul-2006 12:07pm Cautiously. I tend to talk it over with a few people I trust first, and consider the options, and often change my mind several times. I don't like to rush into things. |
| Enheduanna | (reply to bill) posted 9-Jul-2006 12:09pm Your avatar is freaking me out. |
| bill | (reply to Enheduanna) posted 9-Jul-2006 12:24pm well, I hope so |
| ROCKMAN | posted 9-Jul-2006 12:35pm It depends on the situation. |
| Melf | posted 9-Jul-2006 12:53pm It depends on the situation. |
| Irene007 | posted 9-Jul-2006 1:02pm It depends on how serious but I do tend to be on the reckless side. For other things, I just barge into them and try not to think about it too much.
Like buying this house... Or the lawn mower I bought yesterday - one store, one stop. I found the best for my needs there and didn't shop around... I don't obsess when it comes time to decorate like my boss does! Man! That woman renovated her kitchen 4 years ago and still some things are not done because she not sure she'll do it right. |
| Amanda | posted 9-Jul-2006 2:27pm It depends on the situation. Usually cautiously. I've made a few reckless decisions, though. I also tend to ask for advice from friends or family when making big decisions, although I don't always follow it. |
| jettles | posted 9-Jul-2006 2:44pm depends on the situation and the speed at which the decision needs to be made. |
| ultamate | posted 9-Jul-2006 3:29pm It depends on the situation but I usually I proceed with caution. Too much thinking and planning is not always a good thing, it's just one of my personality traits. |
| ultamate | (reply to Irene007) posted 9-Jul-2006 3:31pm I have not seen you around lately, where have you been? |
| Irene007 | (reply to ultamate) posted 9-Jul-2006 7:05pm Sorry Hun! I've been around but I tend to stick in Forum. I just moved and I'm a little overwhelmed. I tend to visit the same threads in Forum too... TPBM is one where you'll certainly find me... (and also "For the love of... II")

| clare | posted 9-Jul-2006 7:42pm It depends on the situation, but I'm usually very cautious. I will also consult with someone as well. |
| RGirl | posted 9-Jul-2006 8:25pm Important decisions I usually either let some one else make or consult with some one first. What happens sometimes is a decision will need to be made and I'm approached with it just to make it seem like I'm in the loop or part of the decision. At least that is what I suspect. |
| hypersky | posted 9-Jul-2006 10:49pm It depends on the situation, but I usually don't become anxious before making important decisions. If I'm not sure, I will consult people I trust. Otherwise I make my own decisions and take responsibility for them. |
| Zang | posted 9-Jul-2006 11:13pm I do my research. |
| LJD | posted 10-Jul-2006 12:19am I'm very analytical, will think things out, then come to a decision |
| blondie20 | posted 10-Jul-2006 5:14am It depends on the situation. |
| cerealkiller | posted 10-Jul-2006 1:00pm I research everything to death before doing anything. Then I hesitate taking action until I absolutely have to. |
| CarolL | posted 10-Jul-2006 10:42pm I think about it, maybe consult with someone who is more knowledgeable, weigh the options. I have small kids, so can't afford reckless anymore (that's why I have small kids!) |
| cloudhugger | posted 11-Jul-2006 10:06am Of course it depends, but I |
| Biggles | posted 11-Jul-2006 6:01pm Cautiously. I tend to carefully exclude/include various options. But when it comes to the final decision, I tend to go with my gut. |
| godiva | posted 11-Jul-2006 8:36pm It does depend on the situation: sometimes I just jump head first because it feels secure...BUT other days..I need to check things out, cautiously...slowly..when I'm ready..there IS nothing to change my mind!!! |
| MiniMary | (reply to Shazzers) posted 14-Jul-2006 3:44pm I consider the pro's and con's and then sleep on it, consider them again and then I decide. |
| caviartaste | posted 15-Jul-2006 12:59am it depends on the situation...usually cautiously for VERY important stuff |
| mve17 | posted 22-Jul-2006 2:29pm I used to be indecisive but now I'm not sure |
| playboy3757 | posted 27-Sep-2006 11:00am I'd like to say that I'm confident enough to make my own decisions, but in the event that someone I trust is nearby, I always seem to have to know what they think, or what they'd do. |
