| Enheduanna | posted 1-Jul-2006 3:40pm What little of it I come across doesn't really bother me. |
| Melf | posted 1-Jul-2006 3:41pm LMAO. Anybody actually doing so needs medical attention. |
| MagicalJamie | posted 1-Jul-2006 3:44pm lol for me, it's overused, and i must admit i still use it all the time over msn...lol |
| RGirl | posted 1-Jul-2006 3:45pm LOL is the only one because it just doesn't seem to express laughing out loud. It's like, deflated or something. Ooooo, lol. I don't get the feeling that are really laughing and some people use it inappropriately and I'm thinking what the heck are they loling about?
I like OMG, though. |
| dab | posted 1-Jul-2006 3:46pm I always pause with LOL. I first learned it as meaning "lots of luck" and so that's how I first parse it now. It seldom makes any sense that way. |
| Cain | posted 1-Jul-2006 4:07pm Of those listed, Orly annoys me the most. I'm not a huge fan of rofl either. Are you really rolling on the floor laughing? No? Well don't bloody say that you are then! |
| llamamama | posted 1-Jul-2006 4:34pm I dont mnd it nls ppl tlk lyk dis. Thn its lyk, wtf?? |
| they | posted 1-Jul-2006 5:21pm str8....... a friend of mine uses it too much. |
| gambler | posted 1-Jul-2006 5:41pm They dont annoy me |
| Amanda | posted 1-Jul-2006 5:42pm I hadn't heard of a couple of these. Some of them seem really lame. But, none of them really bother me unless they're overly used. |
| paulyw | posted 1-Jul-2006 7:32pm I don't mind inernet speak. Some of it I find funny. |
| ultamate | posted 1-Jul-2006 7:54pm Omg! this survey is making me lmao.Ffs what made you think to ask this? lol rofl. That is annoy but other wise it doesn't bother me in the least. |

| Iseult | posted 1-Jul-2006 11:16pm Anything with teh in it. |
| Iseult | posted 1-Jul-2006 11:17pm Also, not on the list, but just as bad, when people add 'le' to the words or other attempts at French. You little crap, probably couldn't even locate France on a map that's showing France and its bordering countries, but you're attempting to mock the language. |

| bill | (reply to Iseult) posted 2-Jul-2006 5:55am OK, I give, I give! ...mercy! |
| Zang | posted 2-Jul-2006 8:24am I'll admit to being a little annoyed when people throw lol lol lol around constantly when there isn't even anything vaguely humourous going on. |
| babb001 | posted 2-Jul-2006 8:37am Just plain dumb |
| CarolL | posted 2-Jul-2006 3:32pm I really don't mind any of it. Must be my innately lazy nature. lol |
| LindaH | (reply to Zang) posted 2-Jul-2006 7:46pm > I'll admit to being a little annoyed when

| Iseult | (reply to bill) posted 2-Jul-2006 9:26pm I could've been worse. I went to this translation site and you could've picked the percentage of severity of the translation. I only did it up to 30%. |
| bill | (reply to Iseult) posted 2-Jul-2006 10:28pm thanks for sparing me |
| ROCKMAN | posted 3-Jul-2006 10:42am Out of these probably Teh secks. I've never seen it before and don't care to. Sex sex sex sex sex sex sex sex sex sex sex! |
| icurok | posted 3-Jul-2006 11:45am I don't really mind acronyms that much. Lol and wtf are fine in an IRC environment where keystrokes take time.
What really minds me up is the needless jargon and dialect, often derived from the vindication of common typos. 'The' becomes 'teh'. 'Owned' (which I hate anyway) because 'Pwned' (which I hate even more). And since when does 'the' go between 'is' and an adjective (e.g "OMG Jessica Simpson is teh hot!!!1!1eleven"). That kind of crap gives me a twitch like Charles Dreyfuss. |
| Zang | (reply to LindaH) posted 3-Jul-2006 2:09pm No no no...it's "lol lol lol"! |
| LindaH | (reply to Zang) posted 3-Jul-2006 2:13pm yeah that does seem like overkill. |
| Zang | (reply to LindaH) posted 3-Jul-2006 2:17pm Particularly when it is used to punctuate every third sentence. I think it's short-hand for "I'm a complete airhead."
I just found 456 examples, on this site alone! |
| Pomeranian | posted 3-Jul-2006 8:59pm I don't mind this sort of thing at all. Saying 'the sex', in any spelling, is intensely retarded. |
| southernyankee | posted 4-Jul-2006 1:04pm I never heard of "Teh secks" which sounds pretty stupid. Yeah, that would annoy me if anything. What the hell is "the sex" supposed to mean anyway? I never heard of Orly (sounds like someone trying to say Bill Oreily) or ffs either. |
| The_DeathstalkR | posted 4-Jul-2006 2:25pm i dont mind internet speak |
| judgescratch | posted 6-Jul-2006 11:11am lol and omg. But I do use lol,though...But not very much. Bad punctuation is what bugs me the most about internet speak. |
| mve17 | posted 24-Jul-2006 3:57pm Teh secks, orly.. never heard of these, I don't think anyone I speak to would ever use them |
| xt983 | posted 30-Apr-2007 8:54am Ffs sounds like something a queer-o-sexual would say.
