| Melf | posted 22-Jun-2006 11:16am Yes, but not for bulk lots. I picked other though, because I think a limit of five per seller should count, and they're not allowed to buy any more. In fact, I'm not sure. There should be a serial number or something the venue can track... I don't know |
| bill | posted 22-Jun-2006 11:54am I really dislike this kind of business... domain scalpers sucks too... no value added... |
| Enheduanna | posted 22-Jun-2006 12:53pm I don't really care. |
| Amanda | posted 22-Jun-2006 3:46pm Sure. They're going to sell them one way or another. Why not use ebay? I know lots of people who've purchased tickets to Nascar races on ebay. If you wait too long, you have no choice but to do that. Depending on the seats, you'll pay up to $300 or so over face value. But, if it's worth it to the people buying them, so be it. |
| Iseult | posted 22-Jun-2006 4:19pm Sure. |
| RGirl | posted 22-Jun-2006 6:24pm Only for face value. If they aren't supposed to do it on the street then they shouldn't be allowed to do it on ebay. |
| mve17 | posted 23-Jun-2006 7:08am Wah whatever |
| Zang | posted 23-Jun-2006 8:31am I don't care. I would think that would be up to eBay to decide. I'm not even sure what the legality is around here. |
| Cain | posted 23-Jun-2006 3:17pm I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I think if people have something to sell and they haven't got hold of the tickets illegally, then yeah, absolutely, sell them. But there was a huge music event in my city recently, and free tickets were sent out to 30,000 picked in a prize draw. Eventually these tickets started to turn up on Ebay for huge amounts of money. I don't like the idea that people got the free tickets with no intention of ever going to the event, just to sell them for a huge profit. |
| romkey | posted 23-Jun-2006 5:11pm If they are allowed to sell them anywhere, then yes, they should be allowed to sell them on ebay. |

| kaleb777 | (reply to romkey) posted 24-Jun-2006 12:54pm It's been more than 2 years! I'm not sure I need to come back - I notice that Frostband is still here. That person really gets my blood boiling. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 25-Jun-2006 9:27am Sure for face value. |
| cloudhugger | posted 17-Jul-2006 12:59am Other. don't know enough about the worldwide impact of whether or not it is acceptable or not. Other than that, I don't care. It takes two, one to sell and one to buy. |
| southernyankee | posted 29-Jan-2007 4:41pm yes, unless they have a contract with the original ticket seller not to. |
| southernyankee | (reply to kaleb777) posted 29-Jan-2007 4:43pm don't worry, he probabbly has you on block anyway, so your chance of interacting with him is slim. Then again he purged his filter list recently. |
