Grey, like black and white movies.

Orange would be pretty badass, I think.

Just the other night as the room got dark, the bug sucker light was casting an eerie dreamlike purple glow around the room. I had another shot of whiskey and stayed up later just to gaze at it, wondering what it would be like if the whole world was purple.

I guess red. Hard to say though. I know it wouldn't be orange, yellow or purple.

BTW, there are no shades of 'black' or 'white'. Only shades of gray.

Black + White = Grey.

Blue + Yellow = Green.

So does that mean that there are no shades of blue and yellow, and only shades of green?

I love purple but I really don't think I want to see only shades of purple for the rest of my life.

You obviously aren't trained in the arts. You cannot have shades of black and white. They are pure. Gray is not a shade of black or white. It is made by mixing black and white together. The survey answer should have said "Grays", period. NO black, NO white choices.

Your argument of blue, yellow, green has no bearing with regard to black or white.

Blue seems like it would be the most calming.

Red. Would shades of black and shades of white be the same thing- shades of grey?

Go tell a blind man that there is no such thing as shades of black.

If I had to see the world in only ONE shade, it would probably drive me mad, now that I know what visual "COLOR" is. I'd rather be blind, because my imagination would never lose its vividness.

Grey... but I wonder what would happen if you took that colour illusion in forum the other week.

Yellow... but, really, gold (not shiny, but I guess I mean yellow/brown)

I've had a few professors in college argue the concept that Black is the lack of color, and White is the mixture of all color.

I understand the concept of Black and White. How can Black, which emits no color, have color? Most say it can't. I disagree. But there is a visual void, which I'd like to consider a color.

Pink; that's my favorite color, and that would be the traditional rose-colored glasses, right, an optimistic, cheerful view of everything?

I remember when I first wore colored contacts that I saw everything in a shade of green (the color I chose). After a few minutes my eyes adjusted and the colors seemed normal.

Besides being my favorite color, blue is a cool color and a symbol of sadness.. I love anything art: writing, drawing, painting, etc, and aside from death, sadness is one of the most inspirational feelings...so I'm going with blue.
