| cB | posted 19-Jun-2006 5:38pm Orange would be pretty badass, I think. |
| LindaH | posted 19-Jun-2006 5:40pm Just the other night as the room got dark, the bug sucker light was casting an eerie dreamlike purple glow around the room. I had another shot of whiskey and stayed up later just to gaze at it, wondering what it would be like if the whole world was purple. |
| cerealkiller | posted 19-Jun-2006 5:42pm I guess red. Hard to say though. I know it wouldn't be orange, yellow or purple.
BTW, there are no shades of 'black' or 'white'. Only shades of gray. |
| cB | (reply to cerealkiller) posted 19-Jun-2006 6:13pm Black + White = Grey.
Blue + Yellow = Green. So does that mean that there are no shades of blue and yellow, and only shades of green? |
| gsummers | posted 19-Jun-2006 6:45pm Yellow which would blend into Orange..... |
| ultamate | posted 19-Jun-2006 6:52pm I love purple but I really don't think I want to see only shades of purple for the rest of my life. |
| cerealkiller | (reply to cB) posted 19-Jun-2006 7:17pm You obviously aren't trained in the arts. You cannot have shades of black and white. They are pure. Gray is not a shade of black or white. It is made by mixing black and white together. The survey answer should have said "Grays", period. NO black, NO white choices.
Your argument of blue, yellow, green has no bearing with regard to black or white. |
| Enheduanna | posted 19-Jun-2006 7:21pm Blue seems like it would be the most calming. |

Blue. |

| RGirl | posted 19-Jun-2006 10:14pm Red. Would shades of black and shades of white be the same thing- shades of grey? |
| Iseult | posted 19-Jun-2006 10:36pm Why do I have to? |
| FitnessGuy | posted 19-Jun-2006 11:53pm Go tell a blind man that there is no such thing as shades of black.
If I had to see the world in only ONE shade, it would probably drive me mad, now that I know what visual "COLOR" is. I'd rather be blind, because my imagination would never lose its vividness. |
| Melf | posted 20-Jun-2006 2:50am Grey... but I wonder what would happen if you took that colour illusion in forum the other week. |
| bill | posted 20-Jun-2006 7:55am Yellow... but, really, gold (not shiny, but I guess I mean yellow/brown) |
| cB | (reply to cerealkiller) posted 20-Jun-2006 10:27am I've had a few professors in college argue the concept that Black is the lack of color, and White is the mixture of all color.
I understand the concept of Black and White. How can Black, which emits no color, have color? Most say it can't. I disagree. But there is a visual void, which I'd like to consider a color. |
| LJD | posted 20-Jun-2006 11:54am Green |
| TeddyMiller | posted 20-Jun-2006 3:26pm Pink; that's my favorite color, and that would be the traditional rose-colored glasses, right, an optimistic, cheerful view of everything? |
| Maarten | posted 20-Jun-2006 4:40pm Purple. |
| LindaH | posted 20-Jun-2006 11:03pm Whenever I read this question, I think of "Sweet Baby James" |
| Oscar | posted 20-Jun-2006 11:26pm I remember when I first wore colored contacts that I saw everything in a shade of green (the color I chose). After a few minutes my eyes adjusted and the colors seemed normal. |
| Venetian2416 | posted 21-Jun-2006 3:02am Blue. That would be great. Perhaps purple. |
| kaleb777 | posted 21-Jun-2006 10:37am Green |
| mve17 | posted 23-Jun-2006 7:13am Brown.. It'd be like living one big old fashioned sepia photo |
| ROCKMAN | posted 25-Jun-2006 10:24am Blue I guess. I really wouldn't like this. |

| playboy3757 | posted 27-Sep-2006 11:05am Besides being my favorite color, blue is a cool color and a symbol of sadness.. I love anything art: writing, drawing, painting, etc, and aside from death, sadness is one of the most inspirational feelings...so I'm going with blue. |
