I didn't forget I just sucked at it. I killed my mother in-laws fish, but the cat lived! |

Yes.... *hangs head* I was to feed my mom's two dogs, four cats, and two horses while she was on vacation. The last morning I forgot to do it and raced over there that afternoon.... only to find her feeding them because she got home early. I felt really bad for the dogs because they didn't have free access to their food like the cats, and they don't eat grass like the horses. |

I never forgot to do this. |

No. We're currently feeding our neighbours fish as they're in Germany for the World Cup. We're a bit worried that one of them will die on us. |

Nobody in their right mind would ask me to look after their pets.
I'm awful at looking after animals. If it wasn't for my parents I'm sure my dog would have checked out a long time ago. |
CarolL | | posted 18-Jun-2006 7:43am |
No. That's a pretty big thing to forget. |

No. I have taken care of people's pets before on a number of occasions.
That would be pretty flaky. |
Zang | | (reply to romkey) posted 18-Jun-2006 5:19pm |
I'm wondering if you did this yourself or if you're being paranoid about leaving your pet in someone's care. |
| ultamate | | (reply to ausfox) posted 18-Jun-2006 6:51pm |
I took my mother in-laws fish I killed to the aquarium and bought one that looked just like hers, she never knew the difference.
Just kidding!

No. If you need anyone to take care of your pet rock I could use a doorstop I could help you out there. |
romkey | | (reply to Zang) posted 19-Jun-2006 12:02am |
Neither... but close. Some friends are going away on vacation; they have a professional cat-sitter... I was thinking that I'd be happy to cat-sit... but then also thinking, wow, what if I spaced? I did also think... I wonder if I ever have spaced on pet-sitting... |

Have me watch someone else's animals? I'm an animal, and I can't even remember to take care of myself half the time, let alone babysitting someone's pet dog, cat, rabbit, ferret, budgerigar, shrew, python, flamingo, armadillo, okapi, tarantula, meerkat, wolverine, kiwi, praying mantis, kookaburra, oryx, chinchilla, monitor, kinkajou, emu, wombat, tapir, capybara, or puffin.........WHEWWW......did I cover everything??? |

I've never offered to take care of someone's pets. I like animals but I'm not a pet person.
Pet person... I hear they're called slaves in some parts |
