Have you ever stayed in bed all day?

Not counting during times of illness...and all day means just sleeping and lounging or playing in bed, getting up to eliminate and take nourishment.

gilly	posted 25-Jun-1999 3:37pm I do this a lot on Saturdays. I'll stock up on books and junk food, keep a pile of both next to my bed, and spend the whole day reading, sleeping, and noshing. I find it very restful.
milktree	posted 25-Jun-1999 4:11pm I was sick. it was a long time ago. Now on the rare occasions I get sick I still have to get up and at least move around. I go nuts if I stay in bed too long.

presti	posted 28-Jun-1999 4:25pm I was very sick and stayed in bed for 2 days. I also stayed in bed with a college boyfriend all day (once)and skipped all my classes. I was avoiding the classes!
Gamera	posted 29-Jun-1999 6:51pm I enjoy this one in a while- maybe four times a year or so at most. I have to be in a particular mood to not want to get up and go play at some point. If the play in bed is particularly good, then I'm less likely to get "cabin fever" (books and comic books count as "good play," sometimes).
