Are you at all concerned about the people living in third world countries, in abject poverty, that have no pornography?

People are just so unsympathetic when it comes to really doing something about the effects of poverty in the third world.

It worries me daily... but I go over there twice a year and do all I can for peoples in developing and poverty stricken lands.. I do my Demi Moore Strip tease number while using a pole a kind African Farmer made for me, I also do a freak-nasty photo shoot in the jungle and later post the photographs in all the villages. I actually am in the running for a humanitarian award.. It just feels so great inside to be recognised for doing something good.

I actually am very concerned about people living in third world countries whose basic daily needs go regularly unmet. I am actually so concerned that I do not find this survey at all humorous.

It's my #1 cause.

My impression is that the countries where the poorest people live often have super strict laws about such things. So, sending them porn may get them shot or their genitals mutilated.

I'm sure that the unfortunate millions who live in abject poverty have much more important things to worry about than bloody pornography.

I have friends in so-called third world countries who are concerned about the people who think it is a sign of richness to have so much pornography.

This is just short termism. It's easy to simply distribute unwanted pornographic material to the third world, but what does that really solve?

What good is a stack of wank mags if you can only tug one off at night? They don't have a torch, let alone mood lighting.

There's also a question of choice. Isn't it slightly racist to expect those living in abject poverty to become aroused by Western pornography, most of which will depict blond, white women?

Charities and NPOs need to look at improving the local infrastructure of these people. Just a small donation to Oxfam or Christian Aid from everyone who participates in this survey could make a real difference. It could provide the capital to establish an internet cafe with private booths where even the poorest villagers can access the widest array of pornography available.

It's always nice to see a well-reasoned response! So many people just look at short term solutions.

Haven't heard them called skin mags for quite sometimes and I tend to think of porno more in terms of a video or DVD but I can see that this upsets you so 'do what you can' to spread your porno around...but be sure to send cigars and whiskey, as well...because you cannot have one without the other.

Who would be watching them masturbate?

I don't know. I doubt its enforced. All I know is that Islam prohibits it (very strongly) and I think the fear of getting caught really discourages it.

I'm more concerned about their need for food, shelter and medical attention than porn and I'm sure they are too.
