Nosy or Noisy?

I don't mind hearing you. But I could not stand seeing you too often.

Nosy. You can mess with their minds and it can be fun. Noisy- uh uh.

Both of these are such peeves of mine.

I hate noise. I take extreme measures to limit the amount and volume of things I hear. It would stink to have my place quiet as possible, and then the neighbors start in with theirs.

I can't stand nosy busybodies. I keep my living room curtains open, because they face no other houses. I keep entryway and kitchen curtains closed as much as possible, because it feels like I'm in a fishbowl if I don't.

If I had to pick one, I'd probably pick that noisy ones would bug me the most. As much as a nosy neighbor wants to find out, there's so much they never could.

We live very near a high school and they have football games and band conventions & contests. Very noisy. In the summer the birds can be very noisy neighbors too, especially when they have babies right near my window in the am.

We get nosy neighbors being gay and all.

I'd rather they be nosy and quiet. I hate noise. Nosiness I can fend off.

I prefer noisy to nosy, but not the kind of noisy that keeps you awake all night. I've had noisy like that, and almost went postal.

At present, I have neighbours who are more noisy than nosy, but they respect the silent hours. The worst it gets is having one or two blaring their home theatres on Saturday evening.

Nosy neighbors I would just tell to fudge off.

Noisy would make me insane.

Actually, I think I might be a noisy neighbor myself.... My little dogs yap all the time.

Nosy, with quiet. I like quiet and I am just as nosy as the next guy. It's my entertainment.
You know, the 'other' police are gone now...

Our high school is about 2 miles away, and we can hear the whole football game on a clear night. It's the explosions that get on my nerves.

I'd rather have noisy neighbors unless it carries on into the night when I'm trying to sleep. But, I wouldn't live within ten feet of anyone if I had the choice. Neighbors are not my thing.

We have both kinds. Although neither is desirable it is easier to deal with noisy neighbors than nosy ones.

Nosy, quiet neighbors. Right now I live in between one of each type here, and the quiet busybodies are much less bothersome than the noisy neighbors.

I really wouldn't prefer to have anyone with their nose in MY business because that is just it it's MY business not theirs. so they can be as loud as they want just so they keep to themselves.

Not much of a choice here..lol Depends on what you mean by noisy, or is it busy? Having one nosy neighbor in a neighborhood can be a good thing sometimes. We had a nosy neighbor that helped prevent a robbery down the street. But I would say generally speaking I don't believe in others prying into another person's private life. Noisy, meaning loud music, consistently racing cars, fighting and so on...I don't appreciate.

You're right about that. Think of Lacy Peters. Her neighbors noticed that the blinds weren't up. They knew that the first thing she did every morning was raise the blinds. Having some one that is paying attention can come in handy. They might wonder who the man is with your kid, you know?

That's a hard one. I guess noisy.

The Laci Petersen case was a real sick case, When I think of that case, and that lovely young woman, and unborn son, losing their lives, because of a weak, sick husband, it makes my skin crawl. I think he should have been executed immediately. Unfortunately, our "inquisitive" neighbor has moved, but we still are friends.

The quiet ones are better. I can always intimidate them to keep their noses out of my business...

Nosy quiet neighbors around here some of the kids are just so noisy, it sounds like they are killing each other and having a war out on the street, they are busy screaming" and Shouting" I mean who just died or something. At times there can be peace and quiet then all of a sudden something blew up a child has just blown up, and out of control children running and screaming bloody murder

My neighbours are noisy and nosy

nosy, cause I can always close my windows blinds. I don't think I care too much to hear them having sex or arguing all the way across the walls.

I'd rather have no neighbors....if they were nosy, i'd go over to their house and scare the livin' crap out them. If they were noisy, i'd go over there and bust thier sorry asses. But i've got good neighbors, they wouldn't such things...they know i'm a cop.

Nosy I guess. I'd rather just fob them off than have to put up with noise. I'm thinking of my son who still has daytime naps. Noisy neighbours would drive me mental.

I'd rather them be loud & leave me alone.

i don't mind as they as they don't start on me or ask me silly questions about my own business then i'll be annoyed!!!!!!
