Hmmm * check * Other.
Yes, if the floor is wet and there are soggy blops of toilet paper with unidentifiable chunks laying around. No, not at all if the floor is obviously well maintained. Probably not if the floor is not clean, but dry.

It would if the floor was covered in stuff that should have gone into the toilet...

Yes, gross. So many people pee all over the floor -- they sure did a lot of this the last place I worked. You would think they were drunk or something with such bad aim.

Yup, it does. Quite a bit, actually.

It really depends on how scuzzy the floor is. If it's a nice, clean bathroom, I don't care. If it's dirty or if the floor is in any way wet, I will be careful to keep my clothing off of it. It's generally only the hems of my pants that touch the floor anyway. I'm not one of those people who drops them all the way to the floor when I go.

My trousers/pants don't hit the floor when I'm on the potty.

Yeah, hate it. But the bathrooms at my work are pretty well cleaned so I don't worry about it there. I often check my pants as I leave...

Where is the 'other' or 'it depends' option? If my pants happen to slide down my legs and hit the floor, I quickly pick them up and make sure that they didn't pick up any dirt. But if the floor is wet or has some mud, then yeah, it bugs me.... never know why the floor is wet......

Yes it does, but sometimes it bothers me more when i enter the mens bathroom, and the stares i get from the guys because i am wearing a dress. They have no right to look at me like that and to laugh at me.

I hate it if there is a wet floor with muck, water, waste, sludge, bodily fluids... naturally that irks me.. I just roll up my slacks while doing the business.. and I never ever let my bottom touch the seat. If the floor is dry and at least semi clean, then I dont care if my slacks touch the ground.

Anyone been to Scotland? I've heard their public bathrooms are nasty but I'm wondering if it's just a myth.

I was in Scotland in the mid-80's. I don't recall the bathrooms being particularly bad, but living in Germany for 3 years and traveling around Europe a lot, I may have just gotten used to it. The buildings are so old, some of the bathrooms were bound to be nasty.

i avoid touching anything in a public restroom and most public places. i am a vegetarian and once i was in line at the grocery and the woman in front of me bought alot of dripping meat products and threw them up on the conveyor belt. I asked the cashier to wipe down the conveyor belt before i put my items up there and she just swabbed the mess around w. a dry paper towel. I was repulsed. I did complain to the manager.

Do you eat any animal products? I'm having trouble with eggs. I will have to order stuff to substitute for baking but I liked eggs. I heard scrambled tofu wasn't bad. Any ideas?

i do eat dairy. my downfall, cheese. it's hard. i don't eat eggs, i just gave that up but i don't go so far as to avoid foods cooked w. eggs. it's like baby steps. what can i give up now. just a little bit at a time. i don't drink cow milk but don't avoid foods prepared w. cow milk. it's a slow process. i do read alot of labels and avoid gelatin which was my next sacrifice and a drag cuz i like rice crispy treats and i gave up marshmallows, it's got gelatin. no gummy, no marshmallows, no hostess cupcakes, those have beef fat in them, weird huh? it's just one sacrifice at a time. sugar would be the last thing to go. i've been working on it for 3 years now and i only had seafood once.

That is what I am doing. I am in transition. I knew I couldn't go through with it if I just up and didn't eat animal products. I may compromise on eggs if I know that they are from cage free hens. I drink soy milk. I've managed to find a brand that I can actually drink like regular milk- only it's chocolate. I really don't want the animal milk. I never ate seafood anyway. I am chipping away at the little things, like jello and what not. Right now my biggest problem is that I don't like vegetables. Many of them at least. My exposure has been so reluctant I have no idea what a lot of them taste like. Do you eat any products like Boca burgers? I do. I was told they are made by Kraft which is supposed to be a bad thing, but I haven't looked into it myself much.

Well, I have to get up very early to go to the zoo with my nephew. Goodnight!

i do eat morning star and bocca and stuff like that but the best thing to do is to learn to cook for yourself. do you like mushrooms? Portabella's are supposed to be the steak of mushrooms and make a great sandwich. Eggplant parmsean is one of my favorites. Do you have a good health food store near by? I do not. When I travel I look for foods and freeze them and bring them home in a cooler. hopefully when I move i will have more access to health food stores. good nite & good luck!!

Yes, I need to cook. I don't like mushrooms but I have been told the Portabellas are good so am willing to try it. I don't like eggplant either, but I haven't tried it in SO long I don't know, I might like it now. I don't have a good health food store near by. I live in a small town about an hour away from where I would find that kind of thing. Who knows, I'll find out soon!
