Will you be attending at least ONE Major League Baseball game at a sports venue this 2006 season?

VotesAnswer
36No as I do not watch or follow Major League Baseball
5Yes I look forward to MLB every year and I try to make ad-least one game live per-season if possible
5Other opinion - please comment below.
0No I will not be going to a Stadium, BUT I will be watching the ballgames from my Home or at the Corner Bar on the TV while getting sloshed in suds with the guys
0Yes I am already a season-ticket holder for my League and I already have my seats reserved
0Yes, but I wish that I could go to the Stadium as my wife won't let me out of the house to go see a game live with the guys.
0Perhaps I would go if someone paid for my tickets as I am a cheap bastard

*check* I sure hope so. It is fun to go to the stadium, eat some Chicago style hotdogs, drink in the sunshine and be around a crowd of happy people.

No. I don't watch or follow baseball, unless the Red Sox make it to the finals. I'm a total fair-weather fan.

Absolutely. While geographically I'm obligated to root for the Tigers (I grew up fairly close to Detroit), I'll take Yankee pinstripes above all else. I'm fortunate enough to have a buddy in New York with season tickets, so I'll be attending the Yanks first home game against Boston.

Few things bring back the fond memories of childhood like a day at the ball park. Peanuts, hot dogs, your feet sticking to the beer covered ground.

Hey, we are almost neighbors. Where did you grow up? I used to work at Sacred Heart Rehab Center, have you ever heard of it? I dont know if its even still around, the one thing that I remember about it is that the windows in the detox unit for alcholics faced Strohs Brewery, the building didn't have ac so in the summer the windows were open and you could smell the beer brewing. I always thought that was kind of ironic *laughing out loud*

When I lived in Detroit a bunch of us used to walk to Tiger Stadium, fun times. I haven't gone in years though.

No! Baseball is boring. It's like watching grass dry or paint grow.

That was not a typo.

No..because..1) Virginia doesn't have a major league baseball team..
And 2) It's frieken expensive..
I'd rather go watch the Tides on $.25 day..haha

I grew up in Port Huron, about an hour from Detroit. I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything but I can't handle being downstate for more than a few days at a time anymore.

No. Wouldn't go if someone had free tickets, bought me beer and food either. Baseball is the most boring sport on earth after hockey. I'd rather watch golf or bowling on TV.

All in all I don't watch or follow sports at all. Unlike the average modern caveman I immediately throw away the sports section of the newspaper without even glancing at it and head for arts and entertainment or the autos section.

But... I don't think it is right that your survey is rated low just because people here don't care for sports. I find that objectionable and improper use of the rating tool. There is not a thing in your survey that deserves getting "poor" votes.

Comerica Park (the Tigers' new stadium) is beautiful but it lacks the character that Tiger Stadium had. Give me the old stadium over the new one any day.
