What is the best sounding instrument in the band?

In a rock Band - drums.

I don't really think of banjos, saxophones and pianos when I think of rock bands... What about the base?

I am not sure, I think that when done right they all sound good toghetor.

Well, I guess that's why it's multi pick...I like the guitar, the drums, the electric guitar, the key board and piano when they have a sweet solo.., the saxaphone rocks my socks, And..I have a thing for the Banjo..so..all of the above. And..the Bass..but..a double bass..

Since I listen mostly to World folk music, my "Other" band instrument I like best is the accordion. I also like Cajun fiddles and fado guitars, I love all kinds of percussion, one of which is the Afro-Brazilian berimbau in capoeira music. Sometimes I like banjos.

Vocals. But it really depends on the band.

I don't have a favorite. Since when are there saxophone and banjo players in a rock band? That's a new one on me.

I don't know about banjos, but what about Meatloaf? He plays a mean rock n roll sax.

Banjo by Steve Martin. He rocks! Seen him in concert back in '77.

I've seen him play banjo, but I never really thought of what he played as being what I consider rock music.

I listen to country, not rock music.

Saxophone rocks!

I listen to easy listening music. Some call it elevator or dentist's office music. Basically it's just music with no lyrics. I don't listen to rock music at all.
