| Iseult | posted 17-Mar-2006 1:06am If they know how to walk in them, then yes. |
| RGirl | posted 17-Mar-2006 1:36am Do not. If there is a heel I prefer it to be at most medium height & not skinny. The character Scully in X files wears a good shoe. Shapely, feminine, and solid. A boot with a small to medium wide heel is always nice. |
| Sagem | posted 17-Mar-2006 4:06am They look like they are in pain all the time |
| mve17 | posted 17-Mar-2006 5:33am Yeh but I can't wear them, I'd be like 6ft |
| kirst | posted 17-Mar-2006 6:57am High heels look nice if they are tasteful and go with a woman's outfit. |
| Tommyturtle40 | posted 17-Mar-2006 8:00am yes, I love the way women look in high heels. |
| judgescratch | posted 17-Mar-2006 8:37am Yes, but it's a new development for me. |
| romkey | posted 17-Mar-2006 8:57am I think they're barbaric. |
| Galomorro | posted 17-Mar-2006 9:21am I do NOT like the look of hi-heeled shoes on women. I merely marvel at their being able to walk at all in something like this! To me it'd be like walking on stilts. High heels are bad for one's feet; but I do understand they do it cuz they think it makes their legs look longer. |
| paulyw | posted 17-Mar-2006 10:17am Well, it depends on the high heels. Some high heels I see on ladies are so high, I don't know how they could walk in them. |
| Wackadoo | posted 17-Mar-2006 11:01am Yes. |
| Iseult | (reply to mve17) posted 17-Mar-2006 12:05pm I'm a bit over 6feet and I still wear heels. |
| Iseult | (reply to paulyw) posted 17-Mar-2006 12:08pm It's all in the manufacture of the shoe.
I was trying on different pairs of shoes at this store that carries many brands, and found that a certain pair of Nine West stilettos are far more stable than a pair of Chinese Laundry tried on afterwards. The main thing about them is stability, whether you feel the heel and the rest of the shoe sort of creaking under you. But they cannot be too stiff because than they're hard to walk in. |
| Enheduanna | posted 17-Mar-2006 12:55pm Sure. |
| bcollins | posted 17-Mar-2006 3:49pm other It depends on the woman & the shoes themselves. How high the heels are. |

| Danger | posted 17-Mar-2006 4:56pm I do indeed. I love wearing heels because they make the boobs and butt look good, and they almost force you to stand up straight (which is slimming).
Plus, I'm pretty short (almost 5'3"), so a little boost in height is always nice. |
| Galomorro | (reply to RGirl) posted 17-Mar-2006 5:08pm Oh, I didn't notice that. |
| CGTREE | posted 17-Mar-2006 7:42pm I don't like the look of high heeled shoes on women....I think they make women look ridiculous. |
| llamamama | posted 17-Mar-2006 7:49pm Um..I don't know..I don't like them..and it irks me when tall people wear them..Like, what the heck? Do you need to be even taller than me?! haha
Or when it's a long skinny heal..Sometimes it just makes you want to kick the heel and watch it fly off..hehe |
| ultamate | posted 17-Mar-2006 9:01pm Short woman who wear 3 inch heels look like they’re going to tip over, that never looks good. Too high a heel doesn’t look good with jeans either |
| longhaultrucker | posted 17-Mar-2006 10:02pm Yes although i like women regardless of their shoes |
| kelly_belly | posted 17-Mar-2006 10:11pm |
| RGirl | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 17-Mar-2006 10:12pm OMG!! My #1 pet peeve------------ painted toe nails. |
| kelly_belly | (reply to RGirl) posted 17-Mar-2006 10:43pm > OMG!! My #1 pet peeve------------ painted toe nails. I think painted toenails are lovely as long as they are not bright or some ungodly color. I keep mine painted Cocoa Power. grrrrrrowl |
| cloudhugger | posted 17-Mar-2006 10:55pm Yes, but as a bodyworker it does make me cringe at what it may be doing to their posture. |
| RGirl | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 17-Mar-2006 11:30pm I will accept the lighter colors, but please-- not red. |
| kelly_belly | (reply to RGirl) posted 17-Mar-2006 11:48pm > I will accept the lighter colors, but please-- not red.
I hear ya. lol |

| blondie20 | posted 18-Mar-2006 12:36am Yes |
| Tommyturtle40 | posted 18-Mar-2006 7:53am those legs and painted toe nails look great, I love those shoes. |
| mve17 | (reply to Iseult) posted 18-Mar-2006 7:53am I hate being tall enough as it is |
| ROCKMAN | posted 18-Mar-2006 9:07am Yes I do on some women, if they are built good. Some women just can't wear them. My Mom is one that can't. |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Iseult) posted 18-Mar-2006 9:19am > I'm a bit over 6feet and I still wear heels. > I didn't realize you were that tall. How much over 6 feet are you? |
| Iseult | (reply to mve17) posted 18-Mar-2006 10:43am Why? |
| Iseult | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 18-Mar-2006 10:44am A bit over 6'1, maybe 6'1 and a quarter. |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Iseult) posted 18-Mar-2006 10:54am Wow! So when you wear heels how much taller does that make you? |
| shorty189 | posted 18-Mar-2006 11:14am yes I do. |
| they | posted 18-Mar-2006 2:15pm Sure.... it looks nice.
But you won't ever catch me dressing that uncomfortably. |
| Weed | posted 18-Mar-2006 2:24pm Sometimes they look good, sometimes they don't. |
| Iseult | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 18-Mar-2006 5:18pm Depends on how high the heels are. The last pair I bought were two inches, but I usually go for smaller one, just because they're easy to walk in. I don't wear them often, especially not during the winter because I have to walk over a field to catch a bus. |
| hypersky | posted 18-Mar-2006 5:34pm I do like the look of high heeled shoes on women, but the height of the heel shouldn't be too exaggerated. A high heel really makes the calves look firm, and matched with a little black dress and a nice pair of stockings, ooh la-la, it can be very hot indeed! |
| Zang | posted 18-Mar-2006 6:17pm What? You mean like this:
Yeah...it does something for me... |
| Enigma | posted 18-Mar-2006 9:36pm How high? Stiletto's.... no. |
| RGirl | (reply to Zang) posted 18-Mar-2006 11:05pm I don't see anything? |
| TIOHENRY | posted 19-Mar-2006 12:58am makes them look hot |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Iseult) posted 19-Mar-2006 7:52am So you don't wear those tall 4 inch heels. Hell that would make you 6' 5". |
| busybaker | posted 19-Mar-2006 7:36pm I dislike high heels on anyone. They aren't good for your body and tend to throw your body out of its natural alignment. They can play havoc with your feet too. |
| LuridHope | posted 19-Mar-2006 7:56pm I get it, but i really don't care. It lifts the butt, draws focus to the calves, and makes a woman sway. It also makes a woman unstable so they walk like they are wounded, this is supposed to incite male instinct... and it's not the instinct to help. |
| Jody | posted 20-Mar-2006 11:25am On occasion, they do look attractive. But my sense of their attractiveness is quickly outweighed by my knowledge of their discomfort and awkwardness (how do people walk in those?). |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to CGTREE) posted 21-Mar-2006 12:05am Happy Birthday Christopher! |
| Zang | (reply to RGirl) posted 21-Mar-2006 8:25am Neither do I...there used to be something there... |
| CGTREE | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 21-Mar-2006 2:55pm Thank you!!!! |
| CGTREE | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 21-Mar-2006 2:59pm Oh MY!!! I could never be with a woman that wears high heals and has painted toes of any colour! Yuck!! |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to CGTREE) posted 21-Mar-2006 3:07pm You're welcome. |
| kelly_belly | (reply to CGTREE) posted 21-Mar-2006 4:23pm Whatever floats your boat!! I could never be with a guy that doesn't appreciate the sensuality of a woman's feet, ankles and legs in high heels! It's all just personal preference. |
| Shadow_Matt | posted 22-Mar-2006 8:45am depends on how nice her legs are |
| CGTREE | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 22-Mar-2006 11:24am Yup. |
| ElvisFan67 | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 22-Mar-2006 5:52pm I noticed on your profile that you're from Alexandria. I'm from Charlottesville--less than 100 miles down U.S. 29 from you! From one Virginian to another--welcome to SC! |
| kelly_belly | (reply to ElvisFan67) posted 23-Mar-2006 12:04am Thanks!! And hi neighbor!! |
| ElvisFan67 | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 24-Mar-2006 7:00pm And a big hello back to you. Ever been to Charlottesville before? |
| kelly_belly | (reply to ElvisFan67) posted 24-Mar-2006 10:47pm Passed thru..you ever been to Alexandria? |
| ElvisFan67 | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 25-Mar-2006 6:34pm Sure have. When I was working construction, I worked on a lot of jobsites in Northern Virginia--including Woodbridge (Occaquan River area), King's Highway north of Ft. Belvoir, Manassas (Lucasville area), Chantilly, and the most recent being a jobsite on Rt. 7 in Sterling in the Algonkian Parkway/Dulles Town Center area (by Dulles Airport). The closest I've worked in Alexandria is when I worked a short time in the little community of Clermont.
I'm really into airplanes, and there's this place I go to in the summer months in Bealeton called the Flying Circus, and a lot of folks from Northern Virginia go there; and if you've never been, perhaps you have at least heard of it. |
| LindaH | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 25-Mar-2006 6:38pm I was in Alexandria years ago. I stayed there for a week and went to a concert in Manassas. |
| kelly_belly | (reply to ElvisFan67) posted 25-Mar-2006 8:35pm Oh yes. I've heard of it..haven't been there myself but my aunt & uncle have been a few times. |
| ElvisFan67 | (reply to kelly_belly) posted 26-Mar-2006 10:07am You should go there sometime--you'll enjoy it. I've also been to the new addition of the National Air & Space Museum at Dulles (Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center), and that's really neat, too. |
| kelly_belly | (reply to ElvisFan67) posted 26-Mar-2006 8:04pm Kewl. |
| Lauren_M | posted 5-May-2006 9:05pm I love wearing heels. 2 to 3 inch are best. |
| kitti723 | posted 13-Jun-2006 11:57pm pin up girl is sexy, yes! |
| Biggles | posted 29-Jun-2006 9:28pm Not really. The thing I hate most in women's shoes though, is the "toe cleavage" - it looks really cheap somehow, like you've bought shoes that don't fit right. |
