| gilly | posted 13-Jun-1999 2:59pm I've had private e-sex in a talk session, but I can't imagine doing it in a chat room. Does this go along with the "sex in public" survey? |
| Eeah | posted 13-Jun-1999 3:04pm Gilly-- I don't know.. But I guess it could go along w/ that survey. |
| Eeah | posted 13-Jun-1999 3:05pm btw.. what is a talk session? |
| mandy | posted 13-Jun-1999 3:15pm As a writer and connoiseur of erotic fiction, I find cybersex in public chat forums to be empty and annoying. I have yet to stumble upon a couple engaged in cybersex that came across as even halfway titillating or erotic. The cybersex I have witnessed in chatrooms seems very "unsexy". I enjoy going to my old chatroom and teasing without mercy the cyber sexers who choose to post publicly. I taunt them and tease them and harass them until the leave ashamed and broken. HEY! That's why there is a PM option, so I don't have to see poorly spelled and groaningly bad jerk off material. If they are idiotic enough to cyber in open post for the world to see, then they should expect "feedback". I find it hilarious that most of the people engaged in said activity, cannot spell the parts of the body they are so ardently trying to describe themselves licking. |
| Gamera | posted 13-Jun-1999 7:16pm When a loved one was very far away, I had some borderline sticky email/talk-sessions, to share what we could of that kind of connection over the miles. But that's with an individual with whom I already have a relationship. I have found that I just like sex better that way (with a strong emotional connection), these days. |

| daver | posted 13-Jun-1999 10:21pm **Eeah: It's a one-on-one chat program; To start one type 'talk <username@host>' at the command prompt on a *nix box, hence the name. |
| miykal | posted 14-Jun-1999 3:50am to cheat, 1, to deceive or practice deceit, esp. for one's own gain; trick or swindle someone. When your partner knows what you are doing it, is that cheating? I do not practice 'cyber sex'. I cannot see the point of it. Nothing can beat the real thing, don't you agree?.................michael |
| milktree | posted 14-Jun-1999 8:36am If I already knew the other person I can imagine why it might be fun, but if I didn't already have a relationship with her it seems like it would be like bad porn. |
| grmbrand | posted 14-Jun-1999 11:42am When I was a frosh at WPI I was briefly into IRC. I never "cybered"--and it wasn't called "cybering" in 1992, anyway. Frankly, I can't imagine that it is more fulfilling than actual lovemaking... |
| eris | posted 14-Jun-1999 12:55pm Been there, done that, in Spanish. I haven't spent any time in chat rooms in a while (too hard to get into the ones I like, and I'm usually too busy these days). I wanted an option for "I enjoy going into a chat room where (other) people are cybering". |
