Very rarely..With the stupid weather around here one day it'll be in the 30s and then the next the 70s..I have a new sweater..but I haven't worn it yet because no one will tell me how it is before I leave..if I think it's going to be cold..and..depending on how cold I think it is..I'll either wear just a long sleeve shirt..or a turtle neck or a mock turtle..

Don't wear them much. Might have something to do with not owning any, but... * wink *

No, any sweater material material makes me itch. I can't wear wool at all. I do own a few vests to wear over shirts for dressy wear. I like plain cotton next to my skin.

I like sweaters but they get dirty and stained too easy and i have to roll up the sleeves too much to where they become a hassle

There are a lot of sweaters now made of cotton/poly blend yarn. You can even get just plain cotton yarn sweaters, though they tend to be a lot heavier than others.

Yes, I do. There is a lady in town who makes the most incredibly soft sweaters, mittens and scarves. I've purchased some of her beautiful work at church rummage sales.

For lounging around in, they're so snuggly.

That sounds pretty good. I need to wear lightweight LAYERS because just one heavy-knit might be too warm for me. I warm up quickly cuz I walk a lot and often feel either too warm or perfectly comfortable when people around me complain of feeling cold. So light layers of cotton T- and sweatshirt/hoodies are a good idea for me. I'm someone who sleeps with my window wide open in mid-winter (but then the temperature here doesn't get below the mid-40s usually, either).

Not usually. If I wear a sweater it's not over a shirt unless it's a t-shirt.

Yes, especially this time of the year. That way I can keep the thermostat down and the heating costs too.

Odd that I'm wearing one for this survey occasion. Ben got me two very cool sweaters for xmas... and I'm wearing the green argyle one right now. I pulled it on when I got out of my warm bed this morning.

Never. Sweaters make me overheat and sweat. Guess that's where the name came from.

Every once in a while. When I was living in Louisiana there were so few days in which sweaters were warranted. In North Carolina it is more of a necessity.

Define 'sweater'... do you mean just a knit, longsleeve shirt? Or any longsleeve shirt that will help you retain heat?
Anyways, what I define as sweater, during the winter I wear them frequently. During the summer, hell no!

"Sweater" meaning a garment usually knitted of some type of yarn (be it wool, cotton, polyester, or some combination thereof). Generally worn over the torso of the body.

Does that work? * smile *
