| llamamama | posted 5-Feb-2006 1:40am Very rarely..With the stupid weather around here one day it'll be in the 30s and then the next the 70s..I have a new sweater..but I haven't worn it yet because no one will tell me how it is before I leave..if I think it's going to be cold..and..depending on how cold I think it is..I'll either wear just a long sleeve shirt..or a turtle neck or a mock turtle.. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 5-Feb-2006 1:46am Never, in fact I don't own any. |
| FauxLo | posted 5-Feb-2006 1:47am I'd sooner wear a mullet. |
| blondie20 | posted 5-Feb-2006 1:52am Very rarely |
| Enheduanna | posted 5-Feb-2006 2:02am Frequently. It's always chilly here. |
| nihon | posted 5-Feb-2006 3:48am Don't wear them much. Might have something to do with not owning any, but... |
| ROCKMAN | posted 5-Feb-2006 8:44am Never, I'm a hooded sweatshirt wearer. |
| ultamate | posted 5-Feb-2006 8:56am very rarely. I don't like bulky clothes. |
| caviartaste | posted 5-Feb-2006 9:01am all the time |
| Yabby65 | posted 5-Feb-2006 10:24am Love them senior so they are my best friend. |
| Yabby65 | posted 5-Feb-2006 10:28am Well when you get to be a senior citizen your body blood thins so ya when I was younger never wore them much either. |
| Melf | posted 5-Feb-2006 10:29am I very very rarely get cold, so its rare that I wear sweaters. |
| Galomorro | posted 5-Feb-2006 10:57am No, any sweater material material makes me itch. I can't wear wool at all. I do own a few vests to wear over shirts for dressy wear. I like plain cotton next to my skin. |
| longhaultrucker | posted 5-Feb-2006 12:17pm I like sweaters but they get dirty and stained too easy and i have to roll up the sleeves too much to where they become a hassle |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 5-Feb-2006 1:38pm Living here in Colorado I do everyday of the week until summer gets here and sometimes in the summer as well. It has been thee coldest it has ever been in some time where is Springtime?? |

> at all. I do own a few vests to wear over shirts for dressy wear. > I like plain cotton next to my skin. There are a lot of sweaters now made of cotton/poly blend yarn. You can even get just plain cotton yarn sweaters, though they tend to be a lot heavier than others. |
| jduPres | posted 5-Feb-2006 3:22pm Yes, I do. There is a lady in town who makes the most incredibly soft sweaters, mittens and scarves. I've purchased some of her beautiful work at church rummage sales. |
| Iseult | posted 5-Feb-2006 4:08pm Rarely. It's hard to find ones that look good. |
| Anderz | posted 5-Feb-2006 5:34pm For lounging around in, they're so snuggly. |
| Galomorro | (reply to nihon) posted 5-Feb-2006 8:34pm That sounds pretty good. I need to wear lightweight LAYERS because just one heavy-knit might be too warm for me. I warm up quickly cuz I walk a lot and often feel either too warm or perfectly comfortable when people around me complain of feeling cold. So light layers of cotton T- and sweatshirt/hoodies are a good idea for me. I'm someone who sleeps with my window wide open in mid-winter (but then the temperature here doesn't get below the mid-40s usually, either). |
| Enigma | posted 5-Feb-2006 11:15pm Not usually. If I wear a sweater it's not over a shirt unless it's a t-shirt. |
| busybaker | posted 6-Feb-2006 2:23am Yes, especially this time of the year. That way I can keep the thermostat down and the heating costs too. |
| Zang | posted 6-Feb-2006 8:05am I'll wear a sweater... |
| they | posted 6-Feb-2006 8:48am Rarely...
Odd that I'm wearing one for this survey occasion. Ben got me two very cool sweaters for xmas... and I'm wearing the green argyle one right now. I pulled it on when I got out of my warm bed this morning. |
| cerealkiller | posted 6-Feb-2006 7:05pm Never. Sweaters make me overheat and sweat. Guess that's where the name came from. |
| cerealkiller | (reply to FauxLo) posted 6-Feb-2006 7:06pm > I'd sooner wear a mullet.
How about a mallet? |
| shorty189 | posted 6-Feb-2006 7:14pm Yes, sometimes, but I burn up in them sometimes, so I don't wear them much. |
| cloudhugger | posted 6-Feb-2006 11:19pm I look like a dork in a sweater. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to FauxLo) posted 6-Feb-2006 11:19pm > I'd sooner wear a mullet.
|
| Jody | posted 7-Feb-2006 11:50am Never, anymore. They make me itch. |
| iamdonte | posted 7-Feb-2006 3:13pm Every once in a while. When I was living in Louisiana there were so few days in which sweaters were warranted. In North Carolina it is more of a necessity. |
| cabinfever | posted 7-Feb-2006 10:44pm Define 'sweater'... do you mean just a knit, longsleeve shirt? Or any longsleeve shirt that will help you retain heat?
Anyways, what I define as sweater, during the winter I wear them frequently. During the summer, hell no! |
| nihon | (reply to cabinfever) posted 8-Feb-2006 12:08pm "Sweater" meaning a garment usually knitted of some type of yarn (be it wool, cotton, polyester, or some combination thereof). Generally worn over the torso of the body.
Does that work? |
| w_wanderers | posted 10-Feb-2006 3:06am They're so itchy |
| Maarten | posted 10-Feb-2006 3:23pm Yes, hooded sweaters.
I have three Rammstein, 1 Celtic and 1 Euro 2000 hooded sweaters. |
| Amanda | posted 15-Feb-2006 12:31am Very rarely. I'm not really a sweater person. |
| Amanda | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 15-Feb-2006 12:36am > I look like a dork in a sweater.
You can't blame the sweater for that! |
| cloudhugger | (reply to Amanda) posted 15-Feb-2006 12:38am HHEEEYYYYYY!! |
| Amanda | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 15-Feb-2006 12:40am HHEEEYYYYYY back. |
