| Enigma | posted 19-Jan-2006 10:46pm GLASS all the way! I despise plastic cups! |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 19-Jan-2006 10:53pm Depends on where I'm at. In the house, glass, on the patio/outdoors, plastic. |
| llamamama | posted 19-Jan-2006 11:13pm Both.. No, just kidding..Glass..because I like to see what I'm drinking? |
| busybaker | posted 20-Jan-2006 12:01am Glass. We don't even have plastic glasses in the house anymore since the children got old enough to safely use glass. |
| jduPres | posted 20-Jan-2006 1:11am It would have to be glass. Except for some aluminum tumblers, there aren't any other glasses in the house except for those made of glass. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 20-Jan-2006 6:05am I prefer glass but I use a plastic insulated mug with a lid and handle a lot if I'm outside. Inside it's always glass though. |
| mve17 | posted 20-Jan-2006 7:40am I like to smash glass |
| Irene007 | posted 20-Jan-2006 7:49am Glass - I don't like drinking out of plastic. Eating fine - drinking? Nuh uh...

| Iseult | (reply to Irene007) posted 20-Jan-2006 10:21am Actually I saw some metal beer bottles on Discovery... |
| bill | posted 20-Jan-2006 10:34am We have a couple plastic cups (one is a mug, actually). I don't use them very often, but sometimes I do. Generally, I only drink milk out of them. I think I have an imprint from childhood of milk in a plastic cup. |

| Enheduanna | posted 20-Jan-2006 12:38pm Glass. There's only one plastic cup in our cabinets, and it's my SO's. It's one of his favorite cups, and I never use it. I'm not generally a fan of plastic cups. |
| teatree | posted 20-Jan-2006 12:52pm Glass. I don't even own any plastic cups. |
| Zang | posted 20-Jan-2006 12:59pm Glass of course! I don't have any plastic cups. I hate plastic crap. The only plastic stuff I have in my kitchen is a few of those little food storage tubs and such like that. |

| cerealkiller | posted 20-Jan-2006 5:08pm Plastic. For various reasons - plastic cups are lighter, the ones in our house hold more liquid than the glass ones and the glass ones are more likely to break when dropped.
But, most of the time the choice would be "neither". The only three things I drink at home are soda, water and milk. Soda's I leave in the can. Water I drink right out of the filtered water spigot or faucet and milk I drink right out of the gallon jug. Hey, that's no problem 'cause I'm the only one who drinks the milk. So I figure I'm saving another glass/cup from having to be washed. |
| Iseult | (reply to Irene007) posted 20-Jan-2006 5:16pm Well they say it's good because it blocks light but it doesn't keep it as cold. |
| Irene007 | (reply to Iseult) posted 20-Jan-2006 5:18pm Brown bottles are just fine! |
| Iseult | (reply to Irene007) posted 20-Jan-2006 5:19pm And you probably drink the beer so quickly it doesn't even get a chance to be exposed to sun. |

| Amanda | posted 21-Jan-2006 9:07pm Plastic. I usually drink out of my favorite plastic cup. It's a blue Mardi Gras '02 cup that I caught at a parade. The writing on it is fading and no one can tell exactly what it said. I don't know why I like it, but I do. Strange. If it's dirty, then I'll go for another plastic cup. We only use glass at the dinner table. |
| musclecarlover | posted 22-Jan-2006 12:42pm Plastic so there is less dishes..(which i have to do) Plastic cups i can just throw away. lol |
