Are you camera shy?

well, i don't specifically hate having my picture taken, but i find that my discomfort with it shows very well in any resulting photographs. i do, however, love to take pictures, particularly of other people. go figure.

I used to run and hide. Then I found out how annoying it is when people do that to me when I want to take their picture. So now I just comply.

I like having my photo taken BUT I must see it when developed so I can interrogate myself and destroy it if I look bad

I take a lot of pictures, but not usually of people.

At some point I realized that having pictures of myself and my friends and family is a good thing. So, I'm now a fairly good sport about it. I wish more people around me would be too...

The options seem strangely biased. I don't mind pictures, though often I don't think they come out too well (of me or of other people). It's nice to have pictures to help remember how I felt and what was happening in the past.

I have very few good pictures of myself. I don't photograph well at all. I do have one great picture of myself that I was thinking about putting up on that other survey (with all the pictures) but that's the only one, and it was taken about 7 years ago.

I am extremely self critical of myself in photographs. I love to see pictures of others though...I am trying to be kinder to myself and view myself in a more positive light. It seems to be working. Nice Survey! BTW when will Eeah post a picture of her lovely self on the photo survey?

Well... to begin with... um, fine isn't the word I would use to describe it...

I used to stick my tongue out at every picture in rebellion from being coerced, but I've mellowed over time.

Will I be entering another scary state?

I don't hate cameras, but I tend to avoid having my picture taken. I don't like the way I look in pictures.
An acquaintance of mine once heard me say this and nodded, saying "yeah, I don't like the way you look in pictures, either..."
