I think what Brian was meaning is, 'why did you space between each letter on the 'other' option?'

A girl I used to hang out and party with died in a car accident a few weeks back. I hadn't really seen or talked to her much in about 4 years.

The last person that died who I had regular contact with was a family friend who passed away shortly after Christmas last year. He had pancreatic cancer.

My SO of 18 years, Bill, died suddenly October of 1998, 6 months after his second heart valve transplant. He was 49.

My Mother, who was 87, died a few months later in February, 1999 of Alzheimer's. I cared for her in my home for those last 5 years. Father died in 1995.

My precious cat, Tasha, died when she was 21 in May of 2000. I miss her still.

Please, enough tears for now.

John Lamb. He was this old guy who lived up my street. I mean really old. He used to walk around the block for exercise. It was one of those things when you're a kid; it was a huge deal if it was one round or two rounds, and if he had one or two crutches. I don't know how, but I got into the habit of walking with him. This is when I was nine or ten or something. We'd talk about all sorts. I went over to his house a couple of times and read him the stories I'd written. He encouraged me to write more.

He went into hospital for a couple of months. I only saw him once when he came out. I went over and talked to him and he had a fit. Just in the middle of speaking. I don't know what caused it. His wife sort of ushered me out of the house, and I didn't see him again.
