Usually not. I have naturally curly hair so blow drying it just makes it frizzy.

Rarely, it takes forever, and isn't really good for my curls.

Have you got any good styling tips Lizabeth? I'm stuck with using at least two hair products a day, and it sucks.

Never have... It's not good for your hair. I have really long, thick hair too, so it takes forever for it to dry... Since I usually keep my hair tied up in a knot behind my head, it takes about 4-6 hours to dry.

Until a couple of months ago, that would have been "never," but now that I'm working a suit job, I occasionally find myself showering in the morning and don't want to go to work with wet hair, so I went ahead and bought a blow dryer and seem to use it about once a month.

I can dry it completely with a towel, so I never bother wasting time with a blow dryer.

I have curly hair, so blow drying it would create a huge frizzball of DOOM! that would last a few days.

Never. Too damaging.

On weekdays, when I have to go to work, I blow dry my hair. On weekends, I don't

I really hate the way blowdrying my hair leaves it feeling, and I'm convinced it's not good for it, so I never do it.

I do not have a style at this time that warrants blow drying. I just wash it and brush it and let it dry naturally and with a little hairspray I'm good to go *smiles*

The people who have cut my hair in the past said to try and avoid blow drying my hair.

pandora: I usually just put some gel on it, style it with my fingers (or with a comb or styling brush - NEVER use bristles on wet hair), and let it air dry. Then, depending on what kind of mood I'm in, I either leave it curly or brush it out. Then I spray it, so that's still 2 products. Oh, well - sorry. * smile *

I agree with the people who say it's damaging. I used to blow dry it all the time and it was huge, I mean like an afro. And so dry, no matter what I did with it. I hated my hair!!

I don't have the kind of hair that blow drys constructively. (Afros should be banned)

kadai: Well, I don't know about "banned" ... but they surely don't belong on the top of my head! * laughing out loud *

I did when I was 12, then I stopped after my friends teased me that my hair was all poofy.

It would take much too long. It dries fine on its own.

okay, not "none," but sufficiently little that it would be silly. I do own a hair dryer to dry paint samples, though.

I never have time to blow dry my curly hair in the morning. On school days, I pull my wet hair back in a ponytail. If I have time, I might leave it down and let it air dry. I have blow dried my hair once in my entire life, and the end result was really frizzy. Ick.

I just started using that ThermSilk shampoo that's supposed to be heat activated. The weird thing is that after using it I don't need the blow dryer. I towel dry my short hair and it feels completely dry. There's something strange in that shampoo!
