| romkey | posted 27-Sep-2005 5:38pm I just wouldn't, regardless of whether or not I might be caught. |
| Enheduanna | posted 27-Sep-2005 5:50pm I wouldn't do this. |
| patarnone | posted 27-Sep-2005 5:56pm I don't have to do something against my principles, Karma will always catch up and even the playing field.
Besides, if I choose Bush, would Cheney be any better? And Osama, there are tons waiting in the wings to replace him. I'll let Karma take care of the idiots out there, keep my conscience clear. |
| dab | posted 27-Sep-2005 6:16pm Just one? It would be so hard to choose. |
| hypersky | posted 27-Sep-2005 6:18pm I would not kill anyone unless my life or the life of an innocent person were in mortal danger from an assailant--that bastard would be in for a rough go. The way I read the question is "would you kill someone for craps and giggles if you could get away with it?" My answer to that is no. |
| kirst | posted 27-Sep-2005 6:40pm No thanks. |
| cerealkiller | posted 27-Sep-2005 7:09pm Only one?
Bill Gates, after he changed his will naming me as sole beneficiary. |
| Hans | posted 27-Sep-2005 7:12pm No one. |
| Galomorro | posted 27-Sep-2005 7:47pm No one. While there do exist people I dislike and would not miss if I never heard from or saw them again, it's bad karma to kill and I would feel too guilty and never be able to live with myself again... I feel guilty when I accidentally squish bugs or wreck spider webs! |
| Amanda1225 | posted 27-Sep-2005 7:50pm No one. I don't think I could live with knowing I killed someone who might have a family who cares about him |
| bombill | posted 27-Sep-2005 7:51pm The survey creator, just for asking. |
| Amanda | posted 27-Sep-2005 8:32pm I'm not sure. I think if I put enough thought into it I could narrow it down to just one. Seriously, I don't think I could kill anyone unless my life or the life of someone I love was in danger. However, I have thought about murder and ways to get away with it |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 27-Sep-2005 10:02pm Even though I have a strong interest in true crime, I have no interest in committing it myself. |
| Frostbrand | posted 27-Sep-2005 10:22pm In realoty, I don't think I'm capable of taking a human life. However, hypothetically, I could see myself taking out Dick Cheney, the true CIC of the NeoCon Death Cult. |
| iamdonte | posted 27-Sep-2005 10:40pm Other: I'm not telling who. |
| Iseult | posted 27-Sep-2005 10:54pm one of my flatmates. |
| YukonGold | posted 27-Sep-2005 11:48pm If I were a horrible person with no morals you mean? Oh this is supposed to be funny SORRY. How would the punishment work if I killed myself? |
| JB98 | posted 28-Sep-2005 2:14am Sorry, I'm don't consider myself a violent man.
My response: No one. |
| Zang | posted 28-Sep-2005 7:49am I don't think I would, but it would be nice to know that I had the power... |
| FordGuy | posted 28-Sep-2005 9:27am Bill Gibson |
| CGTREE | posted 28-Sep-2005 9:40am President George Bush!!! |
| mve17 | posted 28-Sep-2005 11:57am no one |
| Jody | (reply to CGTREE) posted 28-Sep-2005 11:57am If you take Bush out, you're just stuck with Cheney. Not much of an improvement. |
| icurok | posted 28-Sep-2005 12:27pm Who is too dangerous to live? Whose death would make the world a better place? Who could be killed without becoming a martyr? I'm sure there are plenty of candidates, but I can't think of one right now. Those options were frankly crap. |
| judgescratch | posted 28-Sep-2005 12:29pm No one! |
| Danger | posted 28-Sep-2005 2:54pm It wouldn't be possible to not be punished. The thoughts and feelings I would have about killing someone would be punishment. |
| cloudhugger | posted 28-Sep-2005 3:31pm Can't wrap my head around this one. |
| CGTREE | (reply to Jody) posted 28-Sep-2005 4:08pm Never heard of Cheney. |
| LordOfTheBling | posted 28-Sep-2005 9:47pm An ex- partner in a now defunct business. Funny that I saw this survey, I was day dreaming about it today. He is partially to blame for the state that I am in now and it makes me furious how the authorities treat 'white collar crime'. Very bad memories linger, so that's all I have to say. |
| Jody | (reply to CGTREE) posted 29-Sep-2005 9:20am The chain of command falls from the president to the vice president when the president dies in office (for example when John F. Kennedy or Abraham Lincoln were assassinated). Cheney is the vice president, and would take command. So Bush doesn't make a sensible target because the person that would replace him (Cheney) would actually probably do worse things than Bush has, given Cheney's ideology and past actions. |
| gsummers | posted 29-Sep-2005 12:36pm I cant say that I would want to end anyone's life.. I would only 'ice' someone if they were trying to kill me..or if they were going to kill someone I know.. |
| CGTREE | (reply to Jody) posted 29-Sep-2005 2:02pm Oh ok....makes sense to me!! |
| Maarten | posted 29-Sep-2005 4:58pm I don't hate anybody, so no one. |
| lily333 | posted 29-Sep-2005 8:52pm I would not kill anyone unless it was defense for myself or someone else. |
| verouge | posted 30-Sep-2005 9:50pm My neighbour, and don't ask me why, you have to meet her!!
Damn, i have to kill her right now. |
| verouge | (reply to Jody) posted 30-Sep-2005 9:55pm > If you take Bush out, you're just stuck with Cheney. Not much of an
> improvement. If each one of us took care on one member in the chain, so soon there would be no one in this chain!!! |
| darkroomdanny | posted 3-Oct-2005 7:31am My lover's ex-husband. Nasty, evil b*d. |
| Fish | posted 3-Oct-2005 5:11pm Osama Bin Laden |
| autumnlight | posted 6-Oct-2005 10:44am I wouldn't want to kill anyone. Punish, but not kill. I beleive in the threefold law so I believe that anyhting bad I do comes back to me threefold. |
| Scott | posted 8-Oct-2005 10:28am Yeah right! Like I'm gonna list their name on here. Then what happens when, I mean, if their disfigured body get snagged by some fisherman and, through dental records, the police are able to identify them as, whoops, almost slipped there. Next thing I know, Unsolved Mysteries does a story and one of you sees it, decides you could use a little extra cash, then rolls over on me. Fudge that! Get your blood money from somewhere else.
Is "Unsolved Mysteries" still on? |
| gambler | posted 9-Oct-2005 8:12pm Honestly, I think if that were possible I would ask to Kill a person who has committed a series of terrible criminal acts and is still at large |
| chunkylova | posted 8-Dec-2005 9:24pm I couldn't take anyone's life...no matter how much I disliked them I just couldnt live with that kind of guilt.... |
| Melf | posted 18-Jul-2008 8:52pm I dunno, Bernard Manning's already gone... |
